Chapter 27: issei Vs. Zaveid and vali.

It's only been a day since Issei trained with dezel, Kiba and Xenovia. After training with them, issei felt that his skills were inadequate. While dwelling on the fact that his skills were inadequate, he looked around for zaveid and Vali. Once he found them, he asked them something,

"Vali, Zaveid have a minute?" Issei asked

"What's up red dragon?" Zaveid asked

"Can you two spar with me? Sairaorg wants to fight me to tomorrow and i feel inadequate. He wants to the fight to be memorable for not just me but for him too. Please, he's the only person i haven't been able to beat." Issei pleaded

"Sure, i've been wanting to fight you since you defeat the queen's challenge." Zaveid agreed

"Thanks Zaveid." Issei thanked

"Once, you're gone, i'll have to find someone else to fight, to be honest your the only one worthy enough to give me a challenge. So yeah, i'll fight you." Vali agreed

"Thanks." Issei thanked

The three head outside of town and prepare to fight.

"Just a heads up kid, i ain't holding anything back." Zaveid warned

"Same with me." Vali mention.

"That's what i was hoping for to be honest. Sairaorg is going to go all out, so i need to learn to do that too." Issei admitted

Zaveid rushes towards issei while his guard was down

"Then let's pick up the pace! OUTLAW BARRAGE!" Zaveid yelled while using mystic arte on issei.

Issei is hit by zaveid's pendulum multiple times.

"My turn!" Vali said while rushing towards issei

Vali encases himself in his armour and tries to hit issei but, issei summons out boosted gear and blocks it. Vali
backs away from issei and hits him with multiple blue beams. Issei encases himself with his armour to protect himself but it proved futile and he gets forced out of his armour while pushed back by the force. After being forced back, zaveid rushes back towards him.

"Come here! Heaven or hell!" Zaveid yelled before using his second mystic arte

Zaveid releases a pendulum to latch onto issei and pulls issei behind him. Afterward, he swiftly jumps above issei while a current of wind swirls around him. He then dives down, striking issei with multiple hits from his pendulums and one singular vertical slice that further damages issei and releases a cyclone around him.

"Gahhh!" Issei yelled in pain

Issei tumbles away from being hit by zaveid's mystic arte

"Damn.... i knew you guys would be strong but.... this is ridiculous...." isseo admitted weakly

"No crimson cardinal today hyoudou? What? Afraid to use it?!" Vali taunted

"I expected more from the person that completed the queen's challenge." Zaveid admitted

Boost!

"They're right. Why are you holding yourself back?" Ddraig asked

"I'm not holding myself back!" Issei said with frustration

"It seems like you are." Ddraig admitted

"Shut up! I'm not holding myself back!" Issei yelled at ddraig out of frustration

"Why don't you quit now? Save yourself the embarrassment." Zaveid suggested

"Like hell i'm backing down!" Issei said with anger
