A New Friend

???: Why are you crying??

Laura looks up to see who is standing there, and doesn't recongnise who the lady is...

Laura: Um w-who are you?

???: Don't worry about that right now young lady, answer my question, Why are you crying?

Laura: Because.. Because *she started choking on her tears so she held up the paper for the unknown lady to read.

???: *takes the paper, and reads it. Okay this isn't that much money, it's only $300

Laura: I don't have that kind of money.

???: Okay, so here I'll make you a deal. *Laura nods for her to continue. I'll give you the money you need, but when you see me again you owe me okay, and I don't need the money back. *Laura nods again to show she agrees.

The mysterious lady hands Laura $500. Laura looks shocked.

Laura: No it's only $300, you gave me too much.

???: keep it from the looks of it you need it, so no worries, oh and by the way my name is Rydel.

Laura: Thank you Thank you, I am forever in your debt Miss Rydel.

She bowed deeply, and took off down the hall to pay the hospital bill. After she pays off the bill she buys something cheap to eat with the money she earned and saves the remaining money Rydel gave her in case of an emergency.

As it was getting late she heads back to the Alley in which she made her home, hidden behind everyhing a secret tunnel is where she lays her head for the night.

The next couple of weeks fly by without anything special happening.

Ross' POV:

December 29, 2010 10:00am

I woke up with the sunlight shining on my face, it was my birthday today. I'm finally 15.

Wait... ugh I'm 15 that means more Prince duty... oh joy... I wish I had a friend I could rely on.

Just than someone knocks on the door.

Ross: Yes? Who is it?

???: Your sister.

Ross: Come in, it's open.

Rydel walks into the room and sits down next him

Rydel: So how is my little brother on his 15th birthday?

Ross: I guess okay... I just wish I had a friend...

Rydel's POV:

hmmm a friend, that's right, Ross has never had a friend before... maybe I can help. Suddenly Ross speaking snaps me out of my train of thought.

Ross: Sis are you alright?

Rydel: Yeah, anyways I gotta go do something I'll be back soon... Oh and Happy Birthday Lil Bro

I squeeze him in a hug before he can react, and run out the room.
