Chapter 21

Sang's POV

They were all laughing, even Kota. Victoria came over and leaned down, "I'll accept your proposal after we get out of here, Princess." Victoria's voice was slightly lower, almost husky and sent shivers that I barely resisted. I felt my arms broke out in goosebumps. Holy crap! My face burned as I looked up to meet her eyes. They held flames and a look that I couldn't explain, but it did something to my body.

She walked away before I could respond and the guys got their laughter under control.

"Good to know, I'll start planning the wedding," Gabriel continued and started the whole group up again.

I looked at Victoria, eyes wide. "Should we start wedding dress shopping? Rings?" Shawna played along. Victoria's eyes were still burning as she was smiling, laughing along, if only at my face.

"Woah, hold on people, can we all take a deep breath. Let's not do anything crazy," I tried to reason, almost panicking.

"It's okay, Sang, we are only teasing, we aren't trying to marry you off...yet," Lucy said, giggling with Gabriel.

I realized then that they were all playing with me. I narrowed my eyes and huffed. Well fine, I can play as well.

I widen my eyes as big as they allowed. Looking at them, I felt myself tearing up a bit and sniffed, "So, you don't think anyone would really want to marry me?" I sniffed a few more time. Putting my head down slightly, I looked up at them all under my eye lashes, my lip jutted out as a single tear drop escaped.

They all stopped suddenly, staring at me almost horrified. "No! Sang! Anyone would be lucky to marry you!" Nathan started.

"Hell yeah they would! Begging on their fucking knees!" Gabriel added.

They all nodded along, sending their own versions of reassurance. I tried, I did, before I couldn't hold it anymore and started to giggle.

Their mouths dropped, "Oh, we just got played," Lucy said, starting to laugh with me.

"We played right into it," North added, grunting.

"She cheats," Gabriel also grunted.

"No, she's brilliant," Silas added.

The girls nodded, still surprised.

After a moment, Silas and Lucy started to dig through the food and we all started to eat. Shawna and Victoria followed me starting a huge pile different foods on my plate. There was no way I was eating all that.

"Just eat what you can," Shawna told me.

I nodded and found a place to sit.  Picking up my fork, I debated which new food to try first.

I got some noodles on my fork, twirled it around before putting it in my mouth. Flavor exploded as I made a happy sound in the back of my throat, closing my eyes to get the full effect. Oh my god! This was amazing! I have missed this all my life! I opened my eyes getting more on my fork before I notice it was quiet. I looked up and found all eyes on me, some cheeks were tinted pink. "What?"

Kota recovered first, cheeks still pink, "Uuuh, nothing. Is that your first time trying Lo mien?"

I blushed, "Yeah, well, it's my first time trying Chinese food period." I mumbled that last bit, but they still heard me judging by the jaws that had suddenly dropped.

"Really? Then you need to try this!" Shawna came over, and stabbed a piece of chicken before bringing it up to my lips. I opened automatically. Again, flavors did fireworks and I made more happy noises. I opened my eyes and looked at Shawna. Her eyes were glazed a bit, cheeks flushed again, but she had a smile.
