Chapter 13

Sang's POV

"Why do they force us to eat this-I can't call this food." Lucy mutters as she picks up a piece of what I think was supposed to be a bagel. How can you mess up a bagel? I shrug in response as Shawna pokes at it, muttering something about the sake of our health.

"Well Dr. Shawna, you will be there to fix me up if I get sick, right?" I give a sly smirk.

She winks back, "I will be there to kiss all your boo-boos better Pookie." I giggle at her teasing, and Victoria chokes on her mystery breakfast.

"Victoria!" I pat her back hard as she swallows. "Are you okay?"

"Fine Sang. Just fine." I smile at her and look at the time.

"Well, it's almost time for first period. You guys remember how to get there right?"

"Well Cupcake, I think Shawna is in Anatomy with you, so I hope she doesn't get lost. I will see you in second period though." I nod, and look two the quieter ones of the group.

"We will be fine Sang. Go ahead and go. We will see you in class or at lunch."

"Okay, if you get lost um-well just don't get lost." The girls laugh and I grab Shawna who didn't really eat most of her breakfast anyway.

"I'm gonna be starving by lunch Pookie."

"You won't like what they are serving then."

"Think we can convince them to make apple pie? I miss apple pie." I giggle, and we skip off to first period AP Anatomy.

Turns out, the human body is just as equally parts disgusting and fascinating as I thought it would be. Shawna seemed like a pro when our teacher whipped out facts as Shawna didn't even blink. Everyone else, wasn't exactly as enthused that we will be spending a whole three weeks on bacterias. Home Ec was two hallways down, and Shawna walked with me there. Before she could enter Lucy barred the door.

"No way. No way are you coming in here. There is a kitchen and last time you were in one you almost blew it up AND gave five of us food poisoning when we taste tested for you. Nope. I'm banning you from this room." Shawna mocked being offended and dramatically wiped her eye.

"Lucy, I'm offended that you think I am capable of messing up that bad. I will have you know that I am-"

"Save it Doc. This is my Cupcake time." Lucy winked and pulled me in the room. "She needs to get away from your ugly mug anyway." I giggle as Shawna gasps in horror. Victoria comes along with a raised eyebrow.

"What is going on?"

"Lucy called me ugly and won't let me in the room."

"Is she wrong?" Victoria stage whispered to me, causing another bout of giggles.

"Pookie, avenge me! Save my honor." I continued to giggle and rolled my eyes.

"Yes Shawna! I will stand for your honor by avenging you against these two!" She winked, and I shooed her off to class. Right as she was walking away I heard her whisper something about my giggling and a cure. I shrugged it off, and entered one of the most delicious classes ever with Lucy and Victoria by my side.

I giggle as we leave the classroom, and another note has found its way into Victoria's hand. "Someone is popular." I tease as the three of us walk to music together.

"Please don't remind me. Make it stop."

"I heard them call her 'The Queen' because she looks so regal Sang." Lucy adds with a bit of mischief twinkling in her eyes. Victoria groans and Kota meets us at the door. She merely raises an eyebrow at us, and I point to Victoria at the same time as Lucy exclaims, "It's her fault."
