The long walk began. Lucy was at the front beside Hope, and behind them were Susan, Edmund and Peter. Lucy was talking to her, telling her the history of Narnia.

"Did you know that we are Kings and Queens of Narnia?", asked Lucy looking at the girl who was about 12 inches taller than her.

"No way!", exclaimed Hope stoping. "Should I kneel?"

"Of course not. You are our friend, and I really hate those protocols.", Lucy had grin on her face and continued talking. "Peter is High King Peter the Magnificent, Susan is High Queen Susan the Gentle, Edmund is King Edmund the Just and I'm Queen Lucy the Valiant."

"I'm sure that you deserved those titles of Kings and Queens.", Hope was really impressed. Lucy, later on, continued talking about The reign of the White Which, the Golden Age, Princ Caspian who was now a King, and lots of other adventures they had. Hope's head was full filled with informations that, for a change, weren't useless. Her sight was cought by a beautiful view that she didn't noticed when Edmund and Lucy swaped their places.

"Hey.", said the black boy nervously. "I'm Edmund."

"I know, Lucy interduced all of you.", she said with cute british accent having a grin on her face, as usual.

"Right.", he added looking back and pleasing for help.

"Just be yourself.", Susan whispered at his ear. "Tell her about Narnia.", she added.

"I used to be nervous, too. But I realised that you should just talk and talk until you feel relaxed. That's why people usually like talking to me,", Hope was talking really fast and stoped for a second to take a deep breath. "Mostly because I do the talking thing.", she laughed as Edmund joined.

"Thanks.", he said quietly raising voice. "For calming me down."

"It's nothing, sure. Now, what's else to see here, King Edmund?", Hope joked and smiled looking at Edmund's brown eyes. He was standing on her left side, and she was a bit shorter than him, maybe 7 inches, which was normal since both of them were at same age.

"If you'd like, we can go to the ocean.", Edmund questioned.

"Of course,", replied Hope smiling, she slightly turned around facing three other Pevensie's and still continued to walk backwards. "All right, everyone, we are going to the ocean.", she added looking at their consurned face expressions. "No worries. If I wouldn't fall, that would be weird. I'm just gonna keep walking like this until we come to the ocean.", she said, and at the last word, she felt a rock behind her foot which immidiatly made her fall at her back. Susan, first, noticed that she's falling and pull Hope's hand to herself. Everyone's lips made few gasps leaving them.

" Maybe, for the safety reasons, you should walk normally.", said Susan when they all stopped.

"Maybe, for the safety reasons, you are right.", Hope grinned repeating the first part of Susan's sentence.

They continued walking, normally, until they finally reached to the sandy beach of the Great Norther Ocean. There, facing eachother, stood two boys. One, that looked like a grown up man, had dark brown hair that reached long enough to cover his ears, and another one seemed to be 15-years old boy with blond hair slightly mixed with brown. The Pevensie children and the new girl walked to them, covering their eyes with their hand to prevent sun rays bothering them.

"That's our cousin,", Lucy whispered onto Hope's ear pointing as she was talking. " And that's King Caspian."

"Why are you two fighting again?", asked Peter annoyingly, he was probably sick of the conflicts the two of them had.

"It's non of you buissnes!", exclaimed the blond boy jerky. "Who is she and why is she here?", he finished shoving at the new girl with his hands.

"I see the blood line.", whispered Hope for herself but Lucy heard her and smiled. "I'm Hope Joy, it's pleasure to meet you.", she added offering a hand for a boy to shake, but he refused. Hope moved her hand and imidietly kneeled in front of the King Caspian.

"Please, rise.", King said with his spanish accent. Hope did as he asked and moved to stand with the Pevensie's, next to Lucy. "Don't bother with Eustace, that just his good mood.", he added smiling.

"I'm sorry, but what's his name? Eu - what?", the brunette girl asked rising her both brows.

"Eustace Sccrub.", he, himself, interduced his name. "Not a pleasure."

"Forgive him, it shouldn't be anything offensive.", Lucy said pointing out some certain words.

"It's fine, but people usually admire me at first sight. That's just not a behaviour that I got used to, but it doesn't matter.", she, again, started talking really fast and smiling the whole time. It seemed like her last name fitted her personality. Joy.

Slowly, the sun began to set behind the two hills. Hope, once again, admired the sight, checking every direction where the sun light could reach. And the company she had, the Pevensie's, King and annoying cousin, was quite good to start a conversation with and laugh.
