What is the High King of some
successful land doing in the abandoned wood? Is his land real at all? Why is he refering his daughter to Hope? Those were all questions that were occupating Susan's mind.

"Sir, can you inform us by telling where are we?", questioned Lucy looking at the tall king.

"Of course, you are in Nekroto Dasos, which is official name for the Dead Wood.", the man said slowly stoping to inhale. "It belongs to Marine, but no one ever lived in it. Until now."

"Why? What happened?", asked Edmund. King Reginald had saure expressions on his face.

"Brigands. They invaded our land. All inhabitants escaped where they could."

"So you cowardly abandoned your people?", said Hope angryly dragging the attention.

"No!", he cutted her words. "I fought with every ray of energy in me. My advisor warned me that the land will need it's king, later when we win it back."

"How can you be so sure you'll win?", demanded Hope almost at the beggining of the fight.

"Behave.", whispered Peter taking her arm above the elbow. She shaked with her arm to make Peter leave it. Hope seemed to be angry and stressed. What kind of king abandons his kingdom? What kind of man abandons his family? , she thought.

"We have faith, miss.", he shaked. "Hope, if you wish.", he let a little laugh after his joke that made six of them laugh, except for Hope. And right after, Edmund stoped, supporting her.

Pevensie's, Caspian and Eustace continued to talk to the king, gathered around him. He told them the story about Nekroto and why is it abandoned. "I'm just gonna leave this place, it's not like you'll ever notice.", Hope whispered loud enough to someone to hear her, but they didn't. They were occupated with King's words that nothing was heard around. She slowly went backwards thinking would anyone notice, and turned around sadly walking. It seemed like non of them cared.

"Folks, where's that Canadian girl?", questioned Eustace getting the unknown looks of confusion. "The new girl.. What's her name?"

"Hope!", Lucy screamed worriedly.

"And she's British, like you.", Edmund corrected him.

"Anyway, she's gone!", Eustace said angry.

"We need to find her. She might be in danger.", Susan exclaimed worryingly.

They started a new long walk thinking where and when did brunette girl leave them.

"Wait, what if she comes back?", asked Lucy stoping. Everyone in front of her came back to the place from they started the search.

"And what if she doesn't?", questioned Susan consurened. Everyone followed her steps forward.

"This is bad. We need to split into searching parties.", ordered Caspian. "Your majesty, shall you stay?", he added respectfully as the King nodded.

"So, King, Lucy and Caspian, you should stay here in case she comes back.", Peter talked like a king again. "And Susan, Edmund, Eustace and I shall go and try to find her. Is that fine?", others nodded and splited in teams.

Brunette girl, Hope, was walking through the wood while pointy branches were scratching her hands.

"I really hope that Susan is wrong.", she gasped, remembering Susan's 'danger around the corner'. "Uh!", she screamed when one branch scratched her t-shirt.

It seemed that the search party heared scream. "Is that someone screaming?", asked Eustace raising his eyebrows.

"It's coming from there!", screamed Susan showing from where did the sound came. Their steps got faster and turned into running.

"Hope? Hope!", Edmund screamed as they stoped, others following his screams.

"Where are you!?"

"I'm here!", gentle voice replied snapping them from thinking. Peter, Edmund, Susan and Eustace reached the place where Hope was, seeing her stuck at one of the branches, more like tones if branches. Four of them started giggling a bit, but soon stop.

"Are you alright?", asked Susan helping her untangle the branches.

"Me, yes. My shirt, no.", she answered. "Where's his royal Buttness?"

"Peter's here.", added Edmund laughing with her. "Reginald, Lucy and Caspian left in case you come back."

"Wow, a dream team.", Hope joked. "I wasn't planning to get back anyway. But, you found me and now I have to."

"Why did you left, at all?", asked Peter as he started walking and everyone joining him.

"You were busy talking to that king , and I was bored.", she replied following Peter's lead behind him.

"You weren't in the center of the attention and you left? What a spoil brat!", Eustace annoyed walking slowly and last.

"That sound more like you.", Edmund joked getting all the support.

"If we are gonna leave anyone in the wood, I vote for Eustace!", Hope giggled raising her right hand. Edmund stood next to her as they joked and laught all the way.

"Great, new people!", Hope whispered ironically laughing as they saw someone sneaking through the wood.

"Shh, don't move.", said Peter lowering his back and spiing on those people.

"For Narnia!", Peter and misterious voice screamed at the same time pulling swords. It wasn't stranger, it was someone they knew.
