Hope turned around to face others, leaving Eustace behind. He quickly ran to his cousins and stood next to them, hoping their protection. Wide smile appeared on brunette girl's face as she was walking to her friends, slowly.

"Are we going to fight?", asked Lucy looking at her oldest brother on her left. Her blue eyes met his.

"I guess so. We have to inform king Reginald.", he answered at her question. Peter gasped his plan to Susan and they both left the cave, heading outside to talk to the king.

Hope came to Lucy, who seemed to look lonely. "Are you alright?", she asked coming at her left side.

"Yes, I think.", she whispered as her glare droped at the ground.

Hope looked at her consurned, and used her right hand to lift her head up. Her brown eyes met her blue ones which were filling with tears. "You're not fine.", Hope gasped puting her arms around Lucy's neck and pulling her in for a hug. "What's the problem?"

"It's just - no one ever listens to me.", she replied between tears. Brunette relised her from a hug and looked at her, giving her smile and a nod. "I wanted to tell Peter my idea, but it seems like they don't care."

Hope wiped girl's tears that fall to her cheek with her thumb. "What's your idea?", she asked her with a smile.

"I suggest that we try to find an army or to at least send a call to Narnia.", she informed stopping her tears.

"But how? It's not like there is some portal or something.", Hope explained not understanding Lucy's weird face expression.

"I think there is. I read one story from that chest - while you were fighting with Eustace - and it was the only one that was not about us.", she spoke silently, obviously not wanting Eustace, Caspian or Edmund to hear her.

"Who was it about?", Hope asked knitting her brows together.

"You.", she whisper - yelled. Hope looked at her like she was crazy, but Lucy was very serious about this. She noticed Hope's confusion and tried to explain. "You see, it says that the girl with magic hands - you - can do many things: awake the nature, open different portals, and other things that are not important."

"So, you think that's me? And that I can open a portal? To Narnia?", she enumerated the facts that she heard. "I'm in!", she brust after a short dead silence adding a smile.

"Let's tell Susan.", Lucy said and she started to walk very fast with Hope following, but a bit slower. They got out of the cave and went to look for Susan and Peter.

"Susan!", both girls screamed not knowing where is she. As they screamed her name last time before giving up, they bumped into her.

"What are you two doing?", she asked motherly putting her hair behind her ear.

"Lucy's got an excellent idea!", Hope said looking at Susan's bright eyes and noticing that Peter is coming.

"We find out that Hope can open a portal to Narnia.", she said with a smile. "But just two can go through it.", she added a little disappointed.

Peter came to them and included himself in the conversation. "It could not be safe!", he said stubbornly.

"You're just saying that because that was Lucy's plan, not yours!", Hope yelled at Peter's words, explaining why is she right.

"I'm just trying to protect all of you!", he continued the fight with harsh tone of his voice.

"Too bad it's wrong.", Hope replied silently, turning around and walking away. She felt guilty for what she said to Peter but she was defending her friend, Lucy. Hope find comfortable place on the ground with the living tree above.

"Hope? Hope!", someone was calling her name. Gentle voice she heard made her recognise the person at the beginning. Susan, who was the person behind calling her name, came to her and sat on the empty place next to her. "Are you alright?", she asked motherly looking at her.

Hope was looking straight, not facing Susan, and she was sitting with her knees pressed to her chest. "I guess so."

"Well, I guess Peter's just always like that. Stubborn. But he doesn't mean any of the bad things he says.", Susan comforted her putting her right hand over her back and rubbing her.

"I hope he'll understand how important this is to the survival of these lands.", Hope said looking at Susan, who saw her eyes glistering and it felt like they were filling with tears.

"Peter is making a plan. Better come quickly.", Edmund appeared behind them and informed the girls about the fight.

Hope quickly got up and wiped a tear that was falling over her left cheek with her right hand and putting a smile on her face. Susan followed her back to the cave where Peter was talking.

"There you are.", he smiled at both girls as Hope faked her smile. "We are going to negotiate with the competitors, first. Edmund will inform Lord about things we discussed.", Peter started to explain the plan he came up with.

Hope looked at him in silence, putting a thick of her hair behind her ear and crossing her hands. She still didn't think that plan would suffice, but she proved that there's no fighting against Peter. She listened every word carefully. After all, she will need it.
