I arrived earlier than usual in the office. A few employees was already there including some of my friends but there were no signs of Hayley yet. It's not that much of a shock though, that she wasn't there yet. Basically, she doesn't care about the possible consequences that she might face because of her constant late comings. Sometimes I wish I was like Hayley. I mean, I wish I see things the way she did. She's always so care-free and laid-back and just.. fun.

"Hey." I greeted Justin as I sat down on my old office chair in my old cubicle. I glanced at Vic and I's little office and noticed that the lights were still off, telling me that he's not yet here. Good. I'm still kind of ticked off by him.

"Hey, what's up?" He greeted as he opened the computer in front of him. He didn't glance up to my direction as he started scribbling something on a blank sticky note pad.

"Nothing much, I guess." I said and made myself comfortable to my chair, spinning slightly. "What are you doing?" I added the last part for the sake of making small talks. I was so bored and Justin was not even putting much effort in prolonging our conversation.

"Just.." He paused, still concentrating with whatever he's writing. "Some stuff.." He continued his sentence. That just made me scrunch up my nose at him. Can't he sense how bored I am? I sighed deeply and decided to open my own computer. I scanned the entire machine in front of me. There were a couple of old games in there. They were not that entertaining but they would do just to kill time while I wait for Vic.

I've been in the office for more than four and a half hours now. I don't even know what to do by that time. I am sure that I have already checked and tried to play all of the games on the computer but I easily got tired. I blame myself for not downloading those little game applications in my phone. Back then, I thought that I could survive without downloading a single game for my smartphone but, I guess I was wrong.

"Where the hell is he?" I grunted in frustration and buried my face to my office desk.

"Woah there. Calm down, Quinn." Justin said with a chuckle. I could still hear him tapping on his keyboard. I guess he really was busy.

"This is a waste of my time! I've been here for four hours now. He should've been here three hours ago!" I loudly exclaimed, still my face planted on the wooden desk.

"Maybe he has an emergency meeting that he has to attend to." Justin said.

"He could've at least left me a message telling me that he can't come today. I'm literally wasting my time not doing anything." I retorted, frustration still evident in my voice.

"Yeah, because you would rather do Vic instead." I heard that little cheeky voice from the opposite side where Justin was sitting. I quickly shot my head up and saw Jenna slumping down to the empty office chair beside me. Laughter erupted around me and I bet that my cheeks instantly heated up to a bright shade of red.

"What the hell are you trying to say?!" I furiously shot back, my eyebrows knitting together in the process. I was still hearing Justin laughing behind me. I spun my chair swiftly and hit his arm, causing him to pause for a while and gasp. But the pain was shortly lived for him because he started laughing again.

"So, that's why you were being so impatient." Justin said with a wink. Jenna quickly pushed her chair causing it to wheel in to Justin's direction and they high-fived.

"I was so mad because he didn't show up. He's just wasting my time when I could be in my house, resting." I argued. Justin and Jenna just looked at each other with those annoying smirks glued to their faces.

"Whatever you say, Kellin." Jenna said with that thick Australian accent of hers. I just rolled my eyes at them and pushed myself away from my chair and gathered all of my stuff. I've had enough for today. If Vic isn't going to show up, I might as well just go back to our apartment.
