Hello fellow readers!
Hope you enjoyed the last chapter and enjoy this one just as well! Sorry it is a little slow going these first few chapters; I just want to set the scene for our main characters and next chapter we'll be getting into their classes!
Also to clarify on their classes, the highest level is III, which they are in only in if they have nearly mastered that subject. They are each Juniors in highschool, but it is possible to skip levels as well, but they must test into that level, so many of them are studying at the first level still, as they have only been there one year or are new.
Without further ado, our next chapter.

Dialogue is in bold.
Thoughts are italicized and underlined.

May's Point of View:

After meeting Drew's new friends I decided to go see how the food at this new school was. I consider myself a bit of a food connoisseur, which is basically a huge food lover hehe, but I HAVE to make sure the food here is up to my expectations! I waited in line for about 5 minutes, with my stomach GROWLING, when finally I made it to the food. My. Jaw. DROPPED. It was more than I could've dreamed! They had a taco bar, baked potato bar, a burger booth, a spot for pizza, and a pasta bar! My senses were overtaken by the delicious smell of all the good food mixing in the air and I sat there dazed for a moment. After the student behind me brought me to my senses, I decided on a bacon cheeseburger, a slice of pizza, two tacos, and a baked potato smothered in cheese and bacon. I swear I had hearts in my eyes by the time I made it to the register.

"MAYYYYYY!!!!" I heard someone yell. I looked around for the source and saw Dawn running up to me waving. She had a chicken salad sandwich and a bag of baked potato chips and stopped in her tracks when she saw my heavily laden tray of food.

"You're gonna eat ALL OF THAT!?!" She exclaimed loudly.

"Ummm, yes??" I replied uncertainly.

"Wow! Well okay! I'm not sure where you put it all, but I guess it's good to try a little bit of everything!" Dawn said.

"Hey May!" Leaf and Misty greeted coming up through the line as well. Misty had a cheeseburger and baked potato, while Leaf had a house salad and baked potato.

"So where's this boyyyffriieennndd of yours?" Misty asked while wiggling her eyebrows at me.

"W-w-what???" I managed to splutter out. "He's not my boyfriend!! He's just a friend!!"

"Hahaha, calm down May, we're just messing with you," Leaf said while smiling. "But we do want to meet him! Where's he sitting?"

"I met him when I came in and he introduced me to his roommate Paul and his friends, so as long as everyone's okay to sit with them we can sit at their table and you can meet him." I replied.

"Wait. Did you say Paul? PAUL SHINJI?!" Dawn exclaimed.

"Uh yeah, I don't know his last name, but I sure there's not too many Paul's here. Why'd you say it like that?" May asked.

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" Dawn shouted out, making the other students look at us funny.

"HAHAHAHAHAH!!!" Misty was cracking up behind Dawn's back.

Leaf explained the situation to May, "Dawn SAYS she can't stand him, because he's always teasing her for something that happened her first day here, but don't let her trick you, she's utterly in love with him."

"I DO NOT! I wouldn't fall for someone that calls me Troublesome every moment he sees me in the day! I have a name! If he called me by my name at least every once in a while it would be okay, but NO. At this point I don't think he even KNOWS my real name!" Dawn replied hastily.
