Chapter 5

Hello everyone! So sorry for the year-long hiatus. I've been extremely busy with class, as I started majoring in the medical field and it takes most of my concentration, because you know it's my future. I'm still currently taking classes and working so I make no promises to how often I will update but I'm going to try to get back into writing! If you've stuck around this long thank you! And as always I do see your comments and votes still so thank you so much! If you're new to my story, thanks for reading! As always I do not own Pokemon or any of the characters.

As the guys made the trek to the cafeteria the guys tried to point out some of the buildings to Drew so that he'd be able to find his way around the campus.

Gary explained the layout of the campus while walking, "So the dorms are sort of the center of the map to make it easier for the students to find their way. The entrance faces south so we can find each of our buildings. Each building is a specific art, the North building is Music, East is Acting, South is Dance, and West is Modeling. Once you know where you're going it's pretty easy to find your way. To make it easier for students they put the cafeteria right next to the dorms so it's just one building over."

"Seems easy enough! I'll be spending most of my time in the North building so it shouldn't be too difficult. What do your schedules look like? We can see what classes we'll have together!" Drew asked.

"Well here's my schedule," said Paul.
8:00-8:40 – Breakfast

8:45-9:00 – Homeroom

9:10-9:50 – Voice Lessons

10:00-10:35 – Class Piano III

10:45-12:05 – Music Theory I

12:10-1:00 – Lunch

1:05-2:25 – Songwriting

2:40-4:00 – Hip-Hop I (this is his extracurricular)

"This is mine!" Exclaimed Ash.
8:00-8:40 – Breakfast

8:45-9:00 – Homeroom

9:10-9:50 – Voice Lessons

10:00-10:35 – Dramatic Interpretation I

10:45-12:05 – Dramatic Techniques I

12:10-1:00 – Lunch

1:05-2:25 – Poetry and Monologuing I

2:40-4:00 – Musical Theatre I

"I'll be taking these classes this semester," Gary shared with the group.
8:00-8:40 – Breakfast

8:45-9:00 – Homeroom

9:10-9:50 – Voice Lessons

10:00-10:35 – Ballet II (M/W/F); Modern I (T/Th) - Gary had to split up his days to fit in each of his dance classes and extracurriculars

10:45-12:05 – Hip-Hop I (M/W/F); Tap I (T/Th)

12:10-1:00 – Lunch

1:05-2:25 – Songwriting

2:40-4:00 – Modeling I

"Cool! Looks like we'll all have Voice Lessons together and I'll songwriting with Paul and Gary! At least I'll know a couple of my classmates on the first day!" exclaimed Drew.

"Sweet! I can't wait to start our classes! We're all going to have a blast!!" Ash shouted out and punched a fist in the air while jumping.

"Ugh... pathetic Ash. Do you have to jump around so much?" Paul said with a glare.

"Paul will you shut up?! You're always mean to me! I'm not going to deal with it this year!" Ash shouted back.

"Um are they always like this?" Drew quietly asked Gary over their Ash and Paul's bickering.

"Yeah pretty much, but don't let it fool you, they've got each other's backs no matter what. Their personalities just clash with each other. Me and Ash are childhood best friends, we've known each other since we were three, we both moved to Sinnoh when we were 10 and met Paul at Veilstone City Elementary School and we've been friends ever since." Gary explained to Drew.

"Ah, well that explains how you all get along so well. Well I'm glad to be a part of your friend group and I hope we all get along just as well!" Drew said hopefully.

"Oh we will! You just wait, this is going to be a great year! And I'm also excited to meet this best friend of yours too. I'm surprised they weren't your roommate." Said Gary.

"Ahhh well that would've been a little difficult," Drew said while chuckling. "But yeah they're super cool and friendly!"

Gary thought that was a little odd to laugh about, but he just brushed it off and shrugged.
They made it to the cafeteria right at 7:30 and looked around.

Psh. Figures she'd be late. Classic May. Drew thought to himself.

"Well where are they?" Asked Ash.

"Eh probably late like usual. Let's go ahead and grab some dinner and a table," Drew replied.

Each of the guys went through the cafeteria line, Drew and Ash each grabbing a cheeseburger and fries, Paul grabbing a turkey sub and a bag of chips, and Gary grabbing a chicken Cesar salad.
As they sat down and started eating, Drew saw a familiar brunette come running into the cafeteria. He waved his hand and yelled out, "May!! Over here!"

She looked around and lit up with a bright smile. "Hey Drew!! Sorry I'm late! I was talking to my new roommate and her friends and the time got away from me!"

"Heh. Classic January. I'm not surprised honestly." Drew chuckled at her while poking her in the forehead.

"Don't call me that! It's M-A-Y! Uhh, who are are friends??" May exclaimed and then asked puzzled. She was puzzled because every guy at the table was staring at her with their mouths open.

"You didn't say your best friend was a girl!!" They exclaimed together.

"Well I did say it would've been difficult to be roommates," Drew laughed and shrugged at their expressions. "May, this Gary, Ash, and my roommate Paul. Guys this is my best friend, May."

"Nice to meet you May," Gary said respectfully.

"Same." Said Paul.

"Yeah! It's great to meet you May!!" Ash exclaimed.

"It's great to meet you guys too! I'm going to grab some food Drew and I'll be back! Maybe my new friends will come sit with us and I can introduce you!" May said before running off.

After she was gone the guys all turned to Drew with smirks on their face, except Ash who was occupied with his food.

"Yeah okay, best friends. I see you Drew," Gary said while wiggling his eyebrows at him.

"Uh I don't know what you mean." Drew replied with a light blush.

"Mhmm." Paul said.

"What are you guys talking about?" Asked Ash.

"Ash. Shut up." Paul said with an eye roll and bit into his sandwich.
