SO SO SORRY ABOUT THE LATE UPDATE!

There has been a plethora of personal things happening that have pretty much uprooted by life.

The good things: I went back to school for my bachelor's degree and recently got a new job for a full-time position.

The bad: My fiancé, whom I've been with for seven years, broke up with me out of the blue. So, I will try to update more often, but I am having a hard time right now.

But on a happier note let's get back into the world of Jubilife City's School of the Arts!

.....

**Time-skip to Friday**

May's Point of View:

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

I reached out and quickly turned off my alarm. I excitedly jumped up out of bed and startled Dawn so much as she was taking off her running shoes that she jumped and tripped over herself and fell to the floor.

"Ooowwwwwwww......" Dawn muttered out as she sat up and rubbed her head and then drew in a sharp breath and quickly cradled her right wrist.

"OH MY ARCEUS! Dawn! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to startle you! I was just excited to start the day!" I yelped as I ran over to Dawn and crouched next to her.

"Hehe, it's okay May! I know you're excited! I'm super excited too!! SHOPPING!!! And a girl's night! We'll make sure to grab some snacks when we go to the city after school today!" Dawn replied excitedly.

"Oooo yes!! Snacks and movies!!!" I squealed and stood up and offered Dawn my hand to help her up.

Dawn reached her hand up to grab mine, but quickly retracted it as we made contact and sucked in her breath sharply.

"Dawn, are you sure you're okay? You didn't fall on your wrist did you??" I asked her worriedly and helped her up and sat her down on her bed.

"No need to worry! It'll be fine! I'm sure it's just a little sore from catching myself." She chirped back and smiled.

"Well, if you're sure.. But I think you should see the nurse and have it looked at. You may have really injured it when you caught yourself!" I said with concern and guilt at having caused her to fall.

"I promise, if it gets worse I'll go! But I'm sure it's fine! I'm going to go ahead and jump in the shower so we can hurry up and meet Misty and Leaf and decide our plans for tonight!" Dawn said while grabbing her towel.

"Okay! Be careful with your wrist though!" I told her, still feeling concerned.

I picked out my outfit for the day while waiting for Dawn to get out. I chose white skinny jeans with rips down the thighs and knees, a red off-shoulder long-sleeve shirt, and my yellow trainers. While I was waiting I grabbed my songbook and flicked through it until I got to the pages where Brendan and I were working on our song project and smiled to myself. He had come up with the majority of the lyrics and dedicated them to me and it made me giddy inside to think about. The last couple days had passed by quickly and were rather uneventful.

I had performed my piano assignment on Wednesday and received top marks! I also got to see Paul really play for the first time and I was mesmerized. It was as if his fingers were floating over the keys! Mine and Drew's friendship had also gotten much better! We were texting more often, but I had been so busy with Brendan and the girls I didn't have as much time to spend in person except for meal times, but he seemed to be in a much better mood! With the exception of that Brianna girl. Drew told me that she didn't ever leave him alone and had taken to waiting for him after every class with the hope that he would walk with her. Luckily between Paul, Ash and I we were able to get rid of her pretty easily. His problem was his guitar class, because none of us were in that class. Hopefully she'll move onto another guy soon! The way the girls talk about her, that's very possible. I don't know why, but every time I saw her throwing herself at him it made my face burn and I would get REALLY irritated. More than what I would consider normal. I just couldn't explain it! Oh well, I'm sure it's just because this week was so tense.
