May's Point of View:

As Paul, Gary, Leaf, Ash, Drew and I approached our classroom, Room 126, Drew and I hung back a bit and lingered at the door, unsure if we should enter or wait for the teacher to introduce us. We stood to the side for about 30 seconds, when a tall and beautiful woman with long coral-pink hair approached us.

"Hello! My name is Miss Solidad, and I will be your teacher for Voice Lessons, as well as Music Theory and Songwriting. Would you like to come in and introduce yourselves to the class?" She stated to Drew and I with a sweet smile.

"Yes, of course!" Drew and I chimed together with a bow.

Drew went in first and I followed in shyly behind him. Drew was always better at introductions, so I always let him go first and then just follow his lead.

As we entered the classroom I saw Leaf and Gary seated at the front of the classroom. It seemed that Gary was annoying Leaf about something as usual, because she had a small scowl on her face and was flushed. Once she saw me enter, she gave a big smile and wave. Ash was seated three rows back and was in the third seat from the window, doodling in his notebook and not paying any attention to those around him. I was, with a jolt and my heartbeat quickened, that Brendon was next to Ash and gave me and wink and a wave when I came in. That put a blush on my face big time! Paul was one seat in front of Ash in the second row and was tapping his fingers on his desk, looking ready to get on with the day. There was also a girl with shoulder-length pink hair that seemed to be glaring at me, but I couldn't understand why. I hadn't even met this girl yet!

Drew walked to the front of the class and did his famous hair flip. "Hey guys! The name's Drew and singing is my passion, and can also play the piano, drums, and viola. I'm looking forward to meeting each of you and hope to make some music magic happen this year." And, of course, he ended with a smirk that made about half the girls in class melt. I rolled my eyes slightly behind him, but bounded forward to introduce myself with a big smile.

"Hi everyone! I'm May and I absolutely love to sing! I also play the guitar, cello, flute and violin! I'm so excited to meet everyone and hopefully get to work with each of you on some beautiful musical pieces!" I said happily to the class. For some reason, the same girls that lit up for Drew, scowled during my introduction. Oh great. Another band of fan girls to deal with at this school too. I thought to myself and fought an eye-roll with difficulty.

"Thank you for those introductions you two! It is also tradition for our new students to grace us with a song, so we can get a feel of each students style and voice! It is your choice of which song and you can each sing your own song or a duet!" Miss Solidad said to us with a smile.

A song?!? On the first day?! Why didn't the others warn us!?!?!? I thought to myself, panicking slightly. Then I glanced at Leaf and saw she was smirking. She KNEW! Oh I'm so going to get her later for this!
