Jackson

"I'm kidding" I laughed, watching Jinyoung blush, effectively distracting him. Jinyoung smacked on my chest lightly, pouting with his bottom lip sticking out. His eyes glinted with humour before realisation dawned on him, his worried gaze scanning over me again.

His eyes widened as I leaned forward to bite lightly on his bottom lip. I sucked on it, looking up at him through my eyelashes before letting go.

"You taste so sweet all the time" I breathed, his mouth dropping open, stunned as I pulled away.

I couldn't help the laughter that bubbled out of me as he stared back speechless. He swallowed, blinking profusely before responding.

"And you smell good to me all the time. Plus, they're comfy. I'll keep trading your hoodie with your pullover..." he rebutted, his eyes crinkling, looking proud of himself.

He grumbled under his breath, ruffling my hair up as I was still laughing and didn't respond. I controlled my laughter, my eyes still tearing as I held both his hands up by his wrists.

I locked my gaze on his before declaring "Take them all Jinyoung, I'll give you the world if you want it"

"You're always like that" he blushed, his ears turning red, giving me the reaction I wanted. I just love watching him all flustered.

His wrists were still locked in my hands, giving him  no choice but to hide his face in my neck. I released his wrists and wrapped my arms around him, feeling him snuggle into my arms while breathing me in.

"Nothing beats you though" he states, his voice barely a whisper. His ears were still red when I looked down and I chuckled, laying a kiss on his head while taking in his uniquely him smell. I smiled to myself, happy that I managed to distract him.

I massaged the nape of Jinyoung's neck, knowing that he has been feeling some neck pains recently. I felt really contented, watching him sigh and sag into my arms.

He could probably hear my heart beating fast as he reached up, leaving his hand over my chest, feeling each thump against his palm. I watched as he smiled, his thumb stroking my chest. He's like a little puppy, squishy and snuggly.

We laid facing each other that night, Jinyoung's head rested on my arm while my other arm was thrown over his side. He traced my face in the dark, his feather light touches leaving a warm trail behind, leaving me winded and wanting more.

I held him tighter, watching him smile as his fingers brushed against my stubble. I just want nights like these to last forever, Jinyoung and I without a care, no one to judge us, no one coming in between us, just the two of us in our little cocoon.

I kissed his fingers as he traced them over my lips before leaning forward and giving him a soft kiss. I cupped his face in my hand and smiled, feeling his cheeks press against my palm.

He definitely became his squishy self again, gaining back the weight he lost in his cheeks. He giggled as I leaned forward, showering him with kisses all over his face. We were better together, the past few months felt like a horrible nightmare that we finally woke up from. We ate and slept better, getting the peace, the rest we really needed.

I gave Jinyoung one last peck against his forehead before tucking him into my chest. There was still no sign of the photographer after Jinyoung went out with Mark and I had a weird sinking feeling that it may have been me.

But if it really was... does that mean that I was the one who put us through that? I sighed, pulling Jinyoung impossibly closer. I should have been more wary. I need to be able to protect him now that he's by my side again.
