I fiddled with the handle for some time before I was able to open it, meanwhile my face was buried into F/N's neck. She was leaning on the door, causing it to fling straight open, and her to almost fall.
I looked up immediately, as I had been waiting to see the mess I had made of Y/N. It was a struggle being patient, with scenarios running through my mind all day, ranging all over the spectrum. She could be crying in the corner or trashing her place, but what I was most excited for was to see whether or not she noticed the little something I had left on the kitchen counter.
Disappointment flooded me. The room was dimly lit by the faint kitchen light seeping into the living room. Sitting in a chair, cast in a ray of artificial light, was Jon. On the couch in front of him, was Y/N, wrapped up in a blanket, her hair peeking out the top.
Then I noticed the empty bowl, water, and crackers beside her. So she did notice my little gift.
Jon stood, a rather pissed off look on his face. I couldn't help but smile.
"You need to leave." I could sense Y/N was awake. She was listening.
I went to speak but F/N cut me off. Goddammit.
"Who are you? What are you doing in m- Oh my- Y/N?" She then went over to her best friend's side.
Jon sprung, pushing both of us out the door, and shutting it behind us. He stood in front of me, faking calmness.
"Aw, what's the matter? Is she not feeling too good?" I mockingly asked.
"Leave. Never come back." He spoke firmly.
"You really think that'll get me to disappear? That you can just glare at me, and I'll run for the hills?"
"It was worth a shot. Though how about this..." He stepped up close, his face maybe six inches from mine. "If I find out you've hurt her one more time, I'll take it as a sign of war. I, unlike you, have an army waiting at my word, so I would advise caution in provoking me."
"Correction, you have a small, loyal, group of mutts. I can make almost the whole world my army. They don't wait for my word, they will just do my bidding." My right hand wrapped around the collar of his shirt, and I pulled him even closer. "No matter how gruesome. So I would advise caution throwing pathetic threats around." I growled, then shoved him, with my one hand, to the ground.
"She doesn't care about you anymore. You have no hold on her. She's strong, you'll never break her." He was talking her up, in an attempt to at least try to make me lose interest.
"Your white lies are just short of valiant, really, " I smirked, "but I know I have the strongest hold on her over anyone in the world. Oh, and believe me, I know she's strong, remarkably, but that's exactly what I want."
I vanished. There was nothing more to say. Though I didn't go all that far, and I found myself waiting once more.

She slept rather peacefully, cuddling the blankets up to her face. Despite how much had happened, she still kept the slight smile that remained while she slept. I missed her. God, how I much I did. Yet here she lies, and I felt like I was looking at a picture of someone I once knew.
Maybe I could get her back...
