Avery's POV
My bright blue eyes widen as Callum's lips hit mine. What the fuck was he doing?
I'd barely talked to the boy a few times, he couldn't possibly have an interest in me. Could he? And even if he did what gave him the right to surprise me with a kiss like that?
I shove his chest back and gape at him.
"What..what the hell was that?!" I shout at him.
Even he looks surprised and regretful right away.
"I am so so sorry." He says seemingly mortified. "Yeah...I won't do that again." Callum seems like he's talking more to himself than me though.
He walks off leaving me to stare at the now empty hall in confusion.
"What's with the face?" Mona asks appearing out of no where. Maybe I was just too zoned out to notice everything around me.
"Harvey's?" I ask with wide eyes.
"Oh shit." Mona mutters before shaking her head and grabbing my elbow since I most likely would've never left on my own.

Mona and I sit on our bar stools at Harvey's. It was the bar we went to when one of us had to drink our drama away. She slams her shot glass down and scrunches her eyes closed while processing the taste. Mona hated vodka. Not sure why shots were her go to.
"So he just like...walked away?" She says much too dramatically while using wild hand motions.
Random people stared at us but the regulars didn't waste a second glance. It happened pretty often.
"I mean basically. He apologized and seemed all shocked and shit and THEN he left."
"Well this is a mess." She snorts.
"Not helping, Mona." I say tipping back another shot.
"Isn't it a bit early for you girls to be here?" Jake questions. Jake was our usual bartender. I think he knew we were underage but we had our fake IDs and there wasn't much he could do about it. Plus we were friends now so he gave it to us anyways.
"Jake, we've got drama so shut the trap, yeah?" Mona tells him grabbing another shot from our tray.
"Noon is a bit early to be hammered." He says grabbing the shots from us.
Mona whimpers and reaches out to grab that but Jake smacks her with that cliche rag he had over his shoulder.
"Dream crusher." I call him.
"You'll thank me tomorrow Mickey." He says with a wink.
I can't remember a time Jake called me by my actual name. Once he found out my middle name was Michelle it's been Mickey.
"Hows the flat?" I questions a very tipsy Mona.
She groans and bangs her head against the counter.
"Grace is such a bitch!" She yells gaining distasteful stares from on lookers.
"Why?" I laugh. Not bothering to bring up how she saved our asses the other day and just letting her get it out.
She glares and spins in a circle on her stool which was definitely a bad idea.
"She's like totally emo and ya know, wears all black and leather and shit so I thought 'hey, she'll be pretty cool' "she does one of her epic eye rolls "oh how wrong I was."
"This hoe woke me up an HOUR before my alarm." She glares at everything in sight at the thought of losing her sleep.
"You set it half an hour before school." I point out
