Chapter nine: Do you

Sora's POV

"Sora stop eating." My father sighed as I reached for another pack of snacks.

"Leave me, I'm on my period." I whined, opening the pack of candy.

"Are you always like this on your period?" My father frowned and I nodded. My appetite increased drastically when I was on my period. And my hormones were a mess as well. I didn't get moody. I didn't get sad. No, I got horny and the only thing I could think of was Jin's lips on my lips. His lips on my body. His dick in my vag-

"Are you still able to run?" My father interrupted my unholy thoughts. "Yes, don't worry. I don't have a lot of cramps. I guess I'm lucky compared to other girls." 

"Say, dad." I said after a while. We were watching Mulan in silence but my mind was totally somewhere else.

"Mhmm." He answered, concentrating on the big screen in front of us.

"I need your advice for something." I said and he immediately looked at me. He turned the tv off and shuffled closer to me.

"Tell me, I can help you if I can." He smiled. I knew he was trying hard to be a father for me because he wasn't able to raise me as a kid. 

"So, I have a friend who is interested in a guy." I started and my father nodded.

"So that friend is really attracted to a guy. She always looks at him and when they kissed, she can't stop thinking about it." 

"What's the problem?" Dad tilted his head and I sighed.

"Well, the problem is that the guy is very mysterious. My friend doesn't know him well and she doesn't know what to do." 

"She can get to know him." Dad raised an eyebrow at my suspicious friend story.

"But..I am..I mean, my friend is scared of getting attached." I said, almost exposing myself.

"What do you mean?" Dad asked.

"What if she starts to like that guy. She gets attached but then he disappears. It will hurt her." 

"Sora, if that is what's keeping you from dating the guy...then date him. I know it hurts to lose a loved one but you don't even know what will happen. Our fate is unknown for us. We don't know what will happen. Just date the guy, but I want to see him first." 

"W-what? It's not about m-me." I stuttered, shocked because of my father's words and the fact that I did expose myself. I'm such a dumb bitch.

"Let's eat some seaweed soup." Dad answered with a smirk standing up from the couch. 

"Dad, I've been eating seaweed soup for two days. I got tired of it. Is that the only thing you serve in your restaurant?" I sighed as I got up as well.

"Well, to be honest. I don't really have a lot of customers." Dad scratched the back of his neck and showed me a grimace.

"Why are you looking at me as if you did something wrong?" I asked him as we descended the stairs.

"Well, I'm sorry because I won't be able to give you some pocket money. I spent most of my savings on the dormitory. I paid in advance for the next two years you'll be living there." 

My jaw dropped as I heard him out. "Why didn't you tell me? I thought we had enough." 

"I didn't want to trouble you." He avoided eye contact with me.

"You're not troubling me. I can search for a part time job and help." 

Dad shook his head. "You're not working. You should just concentrate on running."
