The Moons New Guardian

Chapter 2

Jacks POV

After the party, I said my goodbyes and told them I was gonna head toBurgress or some mountain and create a fortress of my own. Right before I exited I turned into some random hallway and waited for everyone else to leave. After North went to his workshop I slowly made my way to the same hallway I was at a few minutes ago.

After a bit I finally found it. Making my way to the door I pulled out the key I made before and placed it in the slot. With my fingers crossed I turned the key and heard the lock click. I listen to see if anyone would catch me in the act but all I could hear was the sound of Yetis and their toys. Releasing the breath I hadn't realized I was holding.

I slowly opened the door to reveal a large room painted blue. I large loft bed queen sized lay in the corner. Walking in I closed the door behind me and made my way over. On the desk were quite a few papers scribbled in a language I didn't understand.

What caught my eye was a picture of a what seemed to be a family. A girl in platinum blond hair and a sparkly blue dress standing with a smile between a blond man with a reindeer and a Strawberry blond haired girl with a...snowman??? It was obviously summer and yet there was a snowman in the picture or should I say painting. It was a miniature framed painting.

Letting my eyes wander they came across another picture of North with his arm slung across a girl much smaller than him. I recognized her from the painting. Her platinum blond hair in a braid over her shoulder this time she was wearing Blue jeans and a white sweater. I figured she was the previous owner. A huge smile was on her face. She seemed so carefree. Bunny was right she's a beauty.

I looked away and took in how big the room actually was. Books lined the walls in elaborate cases. In one corner I saw a bow and a quiver of arrows. The bow layout in the open but the arrows laid in a glass case.

Ignoring that weapon I walk to another corner where the books continue on and pull out into the room creating small rows. Ignoring that also I walk to the next corner where a large TV lay. Next to it a case with a large selection of movies. My eyes glance over them. I look behind me and realize there is a ladder hanging from a hole in the middle of the roof. Walking over to it I look up and see a beige color reflecting at me.

I grab ahold of the ladder and start to climb it.

"Woah," I say At the top I'm surprised to see I giant indoor fort. Blankets cascade the walls. Pillows line the corners. A soft carpet covers the floor. Fairy lights twinkle all around it. It was a perfect room.

"This room is too perfect," I tell myself. "What happened to the owner?" I question. IM guessing nothing good because who would ever leave on their own accord. I jump when I hear the door open.

"Elsa???" I hear a deep voice ring out. North calls once more. "Elsa is that you? Please come out I know you're here. My alarm sensors went off." He sounds desperate. PLeaing for an answer from this Elsa. But I curse myself for not being smarter about this. Of course, he had alarms in this room it obviously belonged to someone important. I hear him make his way to the ladder once he realized there was no one down there. I feel the walls hoping for some kind of hidden exit. North has almost reached the top when I realize there isn't one. This was it I was gonna die right here. I look around and try to figure out an excuse to tell him. He reaches the top. His hand grabbing the floorboard. I see his eyes look in my direction and I hold my breath.

OHH THIS IS GETTING GOOD. SO EXCITING Am I Right. SO what do you thinks gonna happen? Is North gonna see him? Who's Room was that? AND I MEAN THAT PILLOW FORT Oof.  I just can't wait for da next update.
