Ch.4

Jacks POV

I continued to hide under a hill of pillows until I was sure he was gone. Slowly making my way to the bottom of the ladder I looked out the window and saw he had summoned the lights. I knew I couldn't leave out the door. So walked over to the window I unlocked it and jumped out gripping tightly to my staff. I flew back up and locked the window. Flying around the workshop I made my way to the entrance taking my time so it seemed like I wasn't in the area.

Entering the globe room I saw sandy was already there. I flew in as casually as I could.

"North whats wrong?" I asked landing beside Sandy. Soon Tooth and Bunny showed up.

"Whats going on?" Bunny asked. North went up to him.

"Bunny she was here." He said.

"What?" Tooth gasped and Sandy looked just as shocked.

"Her alarms went off so when I went to investigate someone had been there. I heard them." North seemed to be trying to convince himself rather than the others. Bunny immediately turned to me suspecting me. I turned away.

"Maybe it was just an elf." He told North. Trying to act normal I intervened.

"Who are you guys talking about?" I ask seeming confused. But my question went unnoticed.

"Bunny I know she was there. I can feel it." He left a pause. "In my Belly." His hands going to his stomach.

"North You Felt WRONG!!!!" He yelled. Obviously tired of him acting like that. "You drove her away why would she come back! To here of all places." Regret flashed across his face as soon as he said that. North also looked taken aback. Sandy tapped Tooth telling her to break it up. She complied.

"North we cant be certain she was here, but bunny she may have been." Placing a hand on each of their shoulders. Bunny turned and gave me a hard look. He turned back to North with sadness filling his face.

"North I miss her just as much as you. We all do." He said nodding to the others. "But you and I both know she's still not ready to come back. Not yet at least." He said placing his hand on his other shoulder. North looked at him and gave him a small smile.

"You are right." Looking at the others he said, "I'm sorry I brought you guys because of my own fantasies." He said sighing.

"Don't be." Tooth told him "If I were you I would've done the same thing."

"Would you've?" He questioned.

"Yes." She told him. Giving them a small smile filled with sadness he departed and went to his office. As soon as he closed the door behind him Bunny turned to me and rushed at me.

"Why you selfish jerk I told you to stay out of that room!" Bunny yelled at me His boomerang raised. Tooth stopped him her hand raised.

"Bunny what are you talking about?" She asked her eyes glancing at me.

" He was in her room." He told her then to me he said. "You were in her room!"

"Who I don't even know who you're talking about," I respond to defend myself. Even though I was in there I didn't want to be caught they seemed too upset over this. And I feel that if I confessed they would slaughter me.

"Elsa's Room You Idiot!" He yelled at me with tears lining his eyes. She was obviously important so I didn't want them to get their hopes up thinking she was actually here.

"And so what if I was huh?" After I said that I realized how Insensitive I sounded. Rage filled Bunny's eyes.

"Why I outta!" He Jumped around Tooth And attempted to tackle me. I had raised my staff ready to defend myself but before he attacked me Sandy's dream sand surrounded him and knocked him unconscious. Looking at the sand it was creating images of him and what seemed to be a young woman. I'm guessing it was Elsa. It seemed more like a memory than a dream though.

Looking at Sandy and tooth they stood there with their arms crossed. Their faces demanding an explanation.

"Guys I'm really Sorry. I didn't mean for this to go so badly. I was just curious you know?" I tell them with sincerity.

"Oh, Jack. If only you had asked." Tooth said flying to my side. She sounded worn out. Sandy also comes over and places a hand on me. "Many years ago A new guardian was chosen." Immediately jumped to conclusions assuming she had died or something if she was a guardian and I had never heard or seen her. "Her name was Elsa. Me Bunny and Sandy weren't there when Man In the moon chose her. But North was. He said that she was the guardian of love. However, Manny didn't want her to be a guardian yet because she was still young and inexperienced. We took her in. She became family. And we raised her. But she was closest to North and Bunny. Bunny was her best friend and her brother. North, a father." She sighed.

"After many years she was progressing she was impatient but most importantly she was scared. In her previous life, she had no control over the powers she was born with. She had almost killed her sister twice. So she wanted to master her abilities soon so she would never hurt anyone ever again. She started training by herself. She would train with the yetis. She ignored simple steps such as breathing and concentration. And one day that caught up to her." Tooth took a deep breath

"She accidentally killed a Yeti. She wanted so badly to end her suffering she had spread it into her magic. And by accident, she struck one during training. North was upset, to say the least. And she had realized her worst fear. She was consumed by her pain. She had hurt someone again. But this time they weren't coming back." Tears threatened to fall from tooths eyes. Sandy wrapped his arms around her offering comfort. I was taken aback at how the story was progressing. This girls magic must have been extremely powerful if she killed someone. It was scary.

"After that, she had lost the trust of North. They had a pretty bad fallout and they said something they probably shouldn't have. What made it worse was that North said---" Tooth sighed giving it a pause. "North... He--He called her a monster." Tooth shook her head. "She left that night and we never heard from her again. We hear OF her but not from her. Her disappearance shattered us. But mostly Bunny and North."

"Oh" Was I all could say. "I'm so sorry." I looked at them. Tooth shook her head.

"It's not your fault." She said flying over next to me.

"It wasn't her fault she left. We all should've watched her more. I should've have watched her, helped her." We all turned and saw Bunny was awake. He had his head in his hand--- Paws. I could hear him sniffle a bit. "I should've been there for her." He looked at us and I saw the tears run down his face. "Told she That she wasn't feared" He slowly rose. "She had so much hurt and sadness. She was afraid of herself. Of her powers." The tears didn't seem to stop. "I should've followed her. Told her how much we loved her. That her magic wasn't dangerous. Told her... tha-that she was no monster." He wiped his face a bit.

"Oh Kangaroo," I whisper as I walk over to him. Tooth and sandy follow and they embrace him. I follow suit. We all stand there wallowing in each other's comfort.
