The Moons New Guardian

Chapter 9

Elsa's POV

As soon as I step into the portal I am met with the familiar picture of my Ice Castle. The one I built all those years ago the first time I ran from Arendale. Opening the doors. I walk in and call out.

"Olaf Marshmellow I'm Home!!!" Soon after I hear the familiar steps of Olaf.

"Elsa You're Back," He says excitedly. Soon after marshmallow joins us. Her large frame fitting through the doorway she sits down in front o me with a smile on her large head.

"Welcome home," She tells me. Giggling I walk up the staircase.

"Elsa I'm going to get you some Lemonade." I hear Olaf say before running off to my makeshift ice kitchen.

Marsh Proceeded to go outside and stand watch. I told her she doesn't need to do that anymore but she insists its the reason she was made.

Running my hand along the rail I remember when Anna came after me. When she told me that she would always be there for me. I let out a sigh I continue to walk up. Entering a familiar room I look around and note the changes. This room was once empty. But know there is a bed. A dresser. Some bookshelves filled with a large variety of boof and in the other cornee\r a case for my bow and arrows.

Placing my bow and arrows in the case I walk over and flop on my bed. Looking over I see that spot where I realized I would never be truly free of my curse. The spot where I almost killed my sister. Whispering I reach out.

"Anna I really need you right now." I felt a tear slide down my cheek. I feel a small breeze pass through the room. For a second I felt her. I felt her warmth embrace me. Her smile against my skin. I could see her now standing in the middle of my room her arms spread beckoning me to go to her. A sob escapes me.

My thoughts of her made me think of North and Bunny, Sandy and tooth. I couldn't help but think of the moment when I ruined everything.

110 years ago

I'm finally ready. This time for sure ill take him down and earn my spot as a guardian. After I came to stay with North and the other My father said that if I could defeat north and pass a test of love I would earn my spot as a Guardian. Grabbing my equipment I make my way to the globe room where everyone already was. North stood in the middle with his swords. Tooth, Bunny, And Sandy stood to the side.

"I believe in ya kiddo you got this," Bunny said. Tooth gave me a big smile and I received a thumbs up from Sandy. Facing North I took a deep breath.

"Are you ready?" He asked.

"Please, I was born ready," I tell him.

I only lasted two minutes before he handed me my ass on a silver platter. The sweat soaked my clothes as I struggled to breath. Laying on my back I saw north's shadow overtake me. He reached his hand out. Taking it I pushed myself to my feet.

"Next time." He told me. I felt my blood boil. I lost because I couldn't do it. I couldn't control my powers. They wouldn't listen to me. I slipped on my own God damn ice. But I refused to take my anger out on him

"Next time," I repeated with a fake smile. Walking way I made my way back to my room. Groaning I threw a snowball at the wall. It made it halfway through the room before it hit the ladder North had made me. Grabbing holds It led me up to my sanctuary. A giant Indoor fort. Its coziness welcomed me. Laying my head on the fluffiest pillow I could find I fell asleep

-----Dream-----

I was standing in the street. Darkness surrounded me. Then I looked to my feet and I saw frost form around me. It made it's way out. I felt fear overtake me. I willed the ice back but it wouldn't listen. Then I saw North. And bunny, beside them tooth and Sandy. My Ice made its way to them.

"Move" I pleaded with them. The thick ice crackling as it formed. Tears fell. Then I heard a voice.

"Would you take the pain for them?" the voice wanted me to take their place. I Immediately nod.

"Yes." I would die for them. But the ice didn't stop. It kept going. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING??? I SAID I WOULD TAKE THEIR PLACE!!!!" I screamed. The ice was almost at their feet when it receded. It all came back to me. I can control it now. I thought. Finally. I let the tears fall. A sigh of relief escapes me. But the moment was short-lived. As the ice came back to me a snowstorm formed around me. I recognized it because it looked the same as from when I froze Anna's heart. "NOO!!!" I screamed. Fear settling in me. But it wouldn't stop. The magic condensed towards me and then it shot out. It was all so sudden. I saw my magic hit them They staggered. Reaching towards them I knew there was nothing I could do. Their smiles empty as I saw the ice form on their skin. My Screams echoed. None heard me.

"You see Elsa you can never escape your curse. No matter how hard you try there will always be fear and you will always be bound to hurt the ones you love." Turning I saw it was me. My own reflection telling me I'm a monster.

I wake up clutching my chest. It hurts so bad I felt my throat collapse. I struggled to breathe, gasping for breath I try to calm myself. That dream felt so real. I quickly climb down my ladder and rush out my room. Making my way to North's Office. I need to make sure he's okay. I find myself in front of his door. Taking a deep breath I knock. I then proceed to open the door. North is sitting behind his desk with bunny and tooth in front of him. Sandy is off to the side asleep.

"Yes, Elsa," North says. "What can I do for you? You're not ready for a rematch already are you?" He says giving a good old belly laugh. Oh, how I missed it.

"Haha no just wanted to make sure you weren't faking it and I actually did some damage," I said chuckling.

"You did good kiddo," Bunny said hoping over to me.

"Yeah, Great job Els." Tooth said. I nodded.

"Well since you're obviously fine Imma go steal some cookies," I say laughing.

"Okay but not too many," North says. I nod and leave as quick as possible. Of course, they're fine. It was just a dream. Nothing more than a dream. I sigh and proceed to the kitchen. But as I take a detour I pass the yeti training room. I see Phil, and his brother Will sparring.

"Hey, guys mind if I join you?" I ask walking in. They nod their head and motion me towards them.

Sorry, this is late as you have already heard I'm taking classes again soooo... ;-; I won't update as early as I usually do. Sorry.
