Chapter 5

Ch.5

4 months later

Elsa's POV

A few Months passed since the Guardians got rid of Pitch Black. It was pretty interesting to watch them struggle so much. I was almost tempted to intervene. It was a bad idea. But I knew I wouldn't have to intervene. If father Wanted the problem taken care I would've become the guardian. Not Jack frost. You Heard me, right Father. Biologically sorta. Spiritually definitely. Adgar and Idun were still my parents but I held Manny's blood too. Our spirits were tied together. And no one knew except for a few friends here and there. The Guardians were a few to name. At first, they didn't know but after I learned to trust them I told them. Apparently though North already knew.

Currently, I was on a small trip to a small city called Burgress. Yes, the one divided by an all-out nightmare war. Instead of me being on the front lines I'm more of a spy. But i would be able to handle myself fine if I was a fighter. But I gather private info. Mostly for myself. I was currently "assessing" the situation after pitch and his army Blew the place up. Not literally of course.

I was making my way to a small coffee shop for some intel from a friend. I was wearing my usual blue hoodie and white jeans with some white converse and my hair in its usual braid hanging off my shoulder. I had my bow in my hands and my quiver slung around my shoulders. I loved this baby so much it made my job so much easier.

I saw a group of kids walking my way. I recognized the kid in the middle as Jamie. I also noticed Jack Frost was with them hovering next to them his laugh rang out. I had my hoodie up to avoid any unnecessary contact. I moved over casually to avoid bumping into him. But due to the small amount of sidewalk left I failed miserably to say the least. Our shoulders brushed barely but I still felt it which meant he did too. I started to walk faster my braid jolting with my sudden movement. I didn't have to turn around to know he had.

"Damn" I whispered to myself, sure he didn't hear me.

"Jack are you okay?" I heard Jamie ask him. "Just my imaginary friend," he told the passerbyers.

"Fine" Jack replied. I Ignored his words and kept walking. That was too close. But I know he's suspicious now. I would have to get my info and leave soon.

I Opened the door to the cafe and made my way to an empty seat. I take my Bow and place it on the chair next to mine. I keep the arrows close though if they would end up in the wrong hands... I mean yeesh. I don't even wanna think about it. I wait for a few minutes before my informant arrives. Hearing the small bell ring I look up.

"Groundhog how nice to see you again," I said standing out of my chair to greet the furry creature in front of me. I still had my hood up. He smiled and took my hand. He glanced around to make sure no believers had caught sight of him. However, the already few customers were paying us no attention.

"Cupid it's been too long." He said while taking a seat across from me. "So I did a bit of digging if you know what I mean," He said winking.

"Haha Very funny," I reply sarcastically.

"But I did manage to get the information you wanted." He pulled a file from behind him. Handing it to me he continued. "Apparently the Guardians didn't actually apprehend Pitch." Raising an eyebrow I look through the file to see some quite shocking information. "He's being "held" "prisoner" by his "own" nightmares in a cave in the woods." He said leaning in slowly. Of Course!!! I think Looking at the final information in the file. That's all the information I needed.

"Thank you so much, old friend, I have what I need now. I owe you one." I tell him putting the file in my bag and getting out of my chair I grab my bow and head for the exit. My time running out because I know Jamie's school is about to start which means Jack will be free to look for me and investigate me.

"So about our deal cupid." He said grabbing my wrist quickly before I could leave.

"Yeah yeah I know I know. You want me to set you up with tooth." I tell him sighing. "But I told you before I can't that's not good for business if two employees start dating each other, you know that my dad would flip," I explain myself again. He saved my life a while back and gave me a place to stay. I trusted him so he's one of the very few who know my secret.

"I know you already said. IM talking about my next offer." Sighing I grab his hand.

"Groundhog I'm so flattered by your attempts to ask me out and although there wouldn't be anything legally wrong since I'm not actually working under Manny I am still his Daughter and he would still flip," I tell him. "However I'll do some digging of my own and find you your match," I told him reassuringly. His eyes drop. I technically actually don't work under the man in the moon. Because I'm his blood I have the power to branch off. But I still do my job he assigned me. I just won't take orders from him or join his little 'Guardian' Groupies.

"Okay. I understand." He says a bit disappointed. I give him a pat on the head and make my way out towards the street. I look around and realize Jack still hasn't caught up. North went back to the Pole, Bunny to the warren, And tooth to the Palace. I think I would pay her a visit and ask her about pitch. Remembering the last time I saw her I start to think I shouldn't. I don't think I was ready to see her again. But on the other hand, I needed my information. I couldn't go to North or Bunny, that would be too painful. And Sandy... well I don't think I would be able to get much from him. I pull a snow globe out of my bag as I turn into an alleyway.

So my only option...Tooth.

"Tooth Palace," I say to it as I see a small image appear on the surface of the globe. I prepare to toss it when I hear a voice call out to me.

"Wait!!!" I didn't see him but I didn't need to I knew Jack had finally caught up. But before I could face him I see his staff knock the snow globe out of my hands. And I feel his weight crash into me. Sending us both towards the portal he just opened.

Hey, Guys Vilo here.

So sorry this is late again. I went to see that new Ant-man and the Wasp... IT WAS SO FRIKING GOOD I MEAN AHHHHHH AND THE END CREDITSSSSSS AHHHHHHH.

It was actually the second time I saw it but It WAS STILL SO GOOD!!!!.
