Imperfections (Zalfie)

Friday. It's Friday. Today.

I'm so nervous and anxious but at the same time I can't contain my excitement!

ALFIE ASKED ME OUT ON A DATE! EEEEEK!

Niomi and I have decided to go into town today to pick me out and outfit as I claim I have nothing to wear! Trust me, I actually own too much clothes!

"Zoe!" I heard Niomi shout. The boys have gone to Alfie's for the day and Alfie will be picking me up from here.

"In here!" I shouted back

I heard Niomi open a few doors, trying to find me, before she waltzed into the kitchen. She grabbed my arm, making me drop everything I was holding, grabbed my bag and dragged me out to the door.

"C'mon, we're going shopping girl" She laughed.

I chuckled back at her as we left the house and got into my car, heading into town.

"Ooooh, how about this one?!" I heard Niomi shout from practically the other side of the shop.

I laughed, putting down what I was holding and running across to see what she had.

I gasped when I saw it, it looked beautiful.

She was holding up a full outfit. I couldn't pull it off though.

"Nahh, I won't be able to pull that off" I said, speaking my thoughts

Niomi's eyes nearly popped out of her head, "What are you talking about!? Of course you could, go try it on!" She said shoving the clothing items into my chest and pushing me into the direction of the changing rooms.

Maybe I could just try it, it might look good?

I took her advice and walked into the changing room, pulling over the curtain.

I removed my clothes and changed into what Niomi had given me.

I looked in the mirror and styled it. Wow. Maybe it did look good. But did I look good enough for Alfie?

I heard Niomi shout, "Zo? Which one are you in?" She probably attracted the whole changing rooms. Typical.

I peered through the curtain so she would know which one I was in. She smiled and walked over to me.

She grinned widely, staring at me.

"What?" I asked, suddenly self concious.

"You look gorgeous!" She said

"Really? You think?" I said, looking down at what I was wearing.

"Of course! Your look perfect. Alfie is going to think your beautiful" She winked.

I laughed, closing the curtain again to change back into what I was wearing before.

I really hope this date goes well.
