Imperfections (Zalfie)

I added one last slap of lipgloss and ruffled my hair a little. I smoothed out my clothes and pulled on my shoes.

It was time.

Inside, I'm freaking out.

Niomi is with me and she is dancing around, she thinks Alfie and I are perfect for each other and she is over the moon that we are going out on a date.

I just laugh at her.

The door bell rang and I took a deep breath.

"Good luck" Niomi said, hugging me tightly.

I nodded and hugged her back, "Thank you, see you later" I said.

I walked out of my room and down the stairs to the door.

I opened the door and there stood Alfie. He looked so handsome.

He was in casual but smart clothes which made me smile.

He smiled at me, "You look beautiful" He said,

I said a shy thank you and walked out of the house, closing the door behind me.

He took my hand in his as we walked to his car.

We hopped in and started the car, driving away from the street.

I kept asking where we were going but he wasn't giving in. He just wouldn't tell me!

It started to bug me but eventually we gave up. I just hope it's somewhere fun and not one of those boring dates. Ugh.

We pulled up into a familiar place and I squealed with excitement. THE BOWLING ALLEY!

This is so exciting! I love bowling!

"C'mon, let;s go in" Alfie said, turning off the car engine and opening his door.

We got out of the car and walked inside.

"1 alley please" He said to the man behind the counter. Alfie paid and we went round the side to get our shoes changed.

Once we were all sorted, we went to our alley, typed in our names and our game had started.

"Game on Alfie Deyes" I smirked

A whole game full of laughs, tears and mixed emotions, we were finished in the bowling alley.

"I WIN I WIN I WIN" I kept on chanting.

Alfie has been sulking the whole time but since I started chanting, he just laughs at me.

I love someone you can laugh with. It really makes my day and makes me smile.

"Hop in the car, I've got something else planned" Alfie smirked.

I grinned widely, knowing our date wasn't over yet.
