I pulled up into the driveway of the shared flat that Marcus and I have. It's currently 11:30pm and I'm so tired.

I had a really great date with Zoe and I am over the moon right now. SHE IS MY GIRLFRIEND! I can't stop smiling.

I stayed in my car for a few minutes before getting out and going into the flat. I'm guessing Marcus would already be asleep.

All the lights were off so I crept in and went upstairs to my bedroom. I lay down with a sigh, the smile still on my face.

I took out my phone and decided to text Zoe. I don't want to seem like the clingy boyfriend, but I miss her already.

"Have a good sleep princess, I miss you already x" I texted her.

I shut my phone off and put it on my bedside cabinet before falling into a sound sleep with the smile still lingering on my face.

I woke up with the sun shining through the window. I clearly didn't shut my curtains last night, ugh.

I ruffled my hair a bit to make it look more presentable and rubbed my eyes. I walked down the stairs to see Marcus in the kitchen, already making breakfast.

"Hey Marcus" I said

"Hey man" he replied, "How was your date then?" He asked, dishing the fry up.

I didn't reply straight away, I just grinned.

"That's a good sign" Marcus laughed.

"It is, it went amazingly" I smiled again, I can't stop smiling since yesterday, "I asked her to be my girlfriend"

"And?" Marcus asked, like he already didn't know the answer.

"She said yes" I laughed

Marcus smiled and came over to me, bringing me in for a bro hug.

"I'm so happy for you man" He said, I love Marcus, he's the best, "We can all go on double dates now"

Since when did he get the soppy type for double dates? Ha.

"Thanks man, I couldn't have done any of this without you"

"What are brothers for eh?" He laughed

We broke apart and sat down as we dug into the amazing breakfast Marcus had prepared.

"Niomi's coming over later" He said, "I'll get her to bring Zoe with her"

I smiled knowing I'd get to see her once again.
