At the stroke of six my bedroom door was flung open and the Queen waltzed into my bedroom, her lips in a wide smile.

"Buongiorno Alexandra. Rise and shine. You have much to do if you have to execute the Independence Ball," she said her voice sounded like a choir singing.

She moved across my room as if she was gliding on ice and flung  open my curtains. The sun's rays penetrated through the glass and burned my eyes. I groaned and replied,

"Buongiorno La Tua Maestà. Thank you for the warm good morning."

She nodded in response and continued,

"Marian will be here in ten minutes to get you dressed. A limousine will be available for you at eight hours to take you around the city and Liam will be accompanying you on your city trek. After you are finish preparing you will join us on the back patio for breakfast at seven."

"Grazie La Tua Maestà," I told her coming off the bed.

She nodded and departed the room and leaving me to my thoughts which were centered around what I was going to do for this Ball.

While waiting for Marian I took a soak in the tub and crossed off ideas in my head until settling on questioning the city about what they want for the ball. It is their's afterall.

"Since you will be accompanied by the Prince and a Royal limousine you are required to dress like a Lady or a Princess," Marian told me going through my closet for something to wear.

"Preferably something white," I called over my shoulder from my vanity chair.

"Sí signora," came the reply.

Since it will be my first time meeting the citizens of Italy I was going to show them my true self. Besides an original is worth so much more than a photocopy. My makeup was natural to accent my natural beauty and my hair was in one of my many unruly hairstyles; a half finished braid and lots of loose strands in a ponytail. Marian had found a soft pants outfit which had a bow at the waist and an off the shoulder top with flare sleeves. She took out my brown open front heels and a white handbag.
