The castle was in a bustle the day after our return and the Duchess was completely MIA. Apparently all the cleaning could not be completed in one week. The Queen, Lily and I where inside the Queen's office deciding on the final designs to be implemented.

"I think it would be best for the people to enter through the eastern door that way they get the perfect entrance view of the hall. And do not use the balcony it gives a closed off feeling as though you do not want the people to mix with their new Crowned Prince. I mean that's just my take on it," Lily said.

"That's good," the Queen replied.

"I will go get the menu checked for the dinner," I said.

"And I will check in with the tailor," Lily spoke.

"Well have fun girls I have business to look after, arrivederci, (goodbye)" Vivienne concluded.

"That tastes delicious," I moaned and threw back my head on Liam's shoulder.

"Glad to know you appreciate my cooking," he chuckled kissing my cheek.

Liam and I were currently on a picnic in a field behind the palace. Any thoughts of me finalizing the menu were throughout the window when I was summoned by Liam to the back patio. He had stood there in khakis and a black dress shirt saying he was taking me on a picnic. Me! Who was wearing four inch pumps and a white dress. Not black or a dark colour but white.

I had fun even though I yelled at him for getting mud on my dress, not in the way those stuck up, rich kids do when something ruins their outfit. But then again I was like that three years ago.

If you had told me three years ago that I would be dating Liam I would have laughed in your face and probably got you fired from whatever place you worked at for even suggesting the notion. I was dumb, stupid and ridiculous. But thanks to Liam I have grown up and finally understand what life really is. I found myself smiling at that and heard him ask,

"Why the smile, dolcezza (sweetheart)?"

"I am just reminiscing our history."

"A popular, rich girl blinded by her love of money and an unpopular, nerdy and poverty stricken guy head over heels in love with her but got his heart broken by his one true love. Almost three years later he returns, this time popular, drop dead sexy and rich to attend the wedding of his one true love to a complete asshat. Thankfully his true love realises her mistake and they begin their journey of love. But.... everything is not as it seems, for the ex groom is not to be trusted. The girl is threatened and she acts to protect the ones she love but her lover is blinded by rage and shunned her breaking his heart to pieces. The ex groom is stopped and the family saved. The lover confesses to the girl before the entire country, she forgives him and confesses her love and they dance to night away. They both hope that they live in peace for the remainder of their lives. And here ends the story of the Prince and his Lover," Liam smirked.

I shook my head and laughed,

"We have a messed up love story."

"Indeed we do."

We laid back in each other's arms basking in the warm sun, but our silence did not last forever.

"Vivienne has been looking for you two for the past two hours," Nathaniel huffed, stopping to catch his breath from the hike up the hill.

We chuckled and he glared.

"She wants to know if you have completed your tasks Alexandra and if you have finished your speech?"

"About that...." I began.

"We may have gotten taken up with important matters," Liam finished.

He smiled and nodded to towards the castle.
