In her hand she carried the glass chest containing the Queen's crown and one thousand Italian dollars.

Alexandra and Vivienne exchanged glances and nodded.

"You have our support figlia,(daughter)" Nathaniel spoke patting her shoulder.

Vivienne, Nathaniel, Jordan, Victoria and Samantha boarded a black sedan and took a different route to their location while Alexandra went in another sedan on the route she was prescribed to take. So caught up in getting their job down they did not notice the the black Mercedes that was tailing Alexandra.

"I see you came alone. Good girl," Wilson smirked and began circling Alexandra like a prey.

She remained silent as he continued,

"Do you have it?"

She nodded tightly but her lips remained sealed.

"You know I only intended to marry you so that I could get your parents' business. You were so naive and unimportant. A pawn in my game to conquer America. But when Liam stepped into the game I said why not conquer Italy too. You had him wrapped around your little finger. He was at your every call," Wilson continued.

He closed in on her and trailed his hands up her arm then gripped her neck. She did not move a muscle as she heard the faint croak of a frog that alerted her that his back up men were down.

"You will never win," she seethed.

"I already have," he chuckled and squeezed her neck.

"You see, you have underestimated me. I had one of my men follow you from the castle I also know that the entire royal family left the palace. You are lucky they did not follow you or I would have blown their heads off," he growled and flung Alexandra on the gravel road.

He snatched up the bag and bent down to her level and grabbed her face in his hand. Squeezing it together he growled,

"If you believed me when I said that if you obey me I will let your family live then you are stupid. We tracked the car and they were going in the direction of the the Main Bridge. There a car is waiting with a driver ready to knock them off to their doom and you won't be around to mourn your loss. You will follow them. Italy will be without a ruler and I will become the King."

He cackled and yelled,

"Josh come forward and kill her!"

A door slammed shut and she jumped in fright while praying that nothing happened to her family. She kept her head down as a familiar pair of black shoes appeared in her line of sight.

"Kill the fool," Wilson growled, "But first I must have a final kiss."

Just as he pulled her to his face a shot rang out in the night. She awaited the pain but it never came instead a manly screamed pierced the quiet night. Another shot came then another and more screaming. The tight grip on her face was gone and she raised her head to see her family emerge from the shadows. She knew that only her father and Nathaniel had guns so she was puzzled as to where the third shot came from. One by one they stepped forward and delivered kicks and punches at Wilson each followed by harsh words.

"Don't mess with my daughter!" Kick.

"I can not believe I allowed my daughter to be wedded to you thank God she did not say 'I do'!" Punch.

"You messed with wrong family prick!" Punch.

"I may not know her that well but she is as much my daughter as theirs culo!(ass)" Kick.

"To hell with being a Queen. You will be hung tonight for treason and harm against the Crown!" Vivienne said calmly but her voice had a hard edge and with her pointed pumps she kicked him where the sun does not shine.

Alexandra looked up at the man standing next to her and their gazes locked. It was then she realized that the man was not who Wilson thought he was.

Her knight in shining armour had come to her rescue along with her family. Liam gave her a heated gaze before his face returned to his once hard expression before stalking towards his goal.

"This is for touching her!" Liam growled punching him in the face and successfully breaking his nose.

"No one touches her except me," he snapped kneeing him in the stomach.

"And this is for hurting her," he growled and wrung his arm until he heard it snap.

Alexandra stared wide eyed as Liam staked his claim over her through his words and actions. It showed that although they were fighting he loved her no matter. Shakily she rose to her feet to thank him but he stepped back, got in his car then sped off into the night. She sighed and was enveloped in a hug by her family as two guards dragged Wilson off to his death.

"Let's go home," Victoria said.

"I need a moment to myself," Alexandra replied giving the Queen her belongings.

"Have faith and continue to have courage," Vivienne told her kissing her forehead, "You have shown me what it means to be strong."

With a nod they parted ways. Alexandra drove off in the opposite direction of Liam until she came to stop by a beautiful lake. Taking her time she stepped outside and walked to the lake where she laid and admired the stars. The breeze blew softly through the grass swaying them from left to right. In the trees she heard the rustling of the animals as they ran to their homes and she felt at peace. Even though her love life was screwed she felt happy. She had her parents and aunt who loved her and she gained a grandmother and grandfather who she believed loved her too. Hopefully it will all work out for the better in the end. But the part that puzzled her was the fact that she did not notice  Wilson's true motives. Thankfully nothing happened except the fact that her butt ached. Pushing all negative thoughts away she closed her eyes and fell into a peaceful slumber beneath the twinkling stars.
