Alexandra POV
I opened my eyes and took in my surroundings as the memories of what happened about twelve hours ago came back fresh in my memory and I sighed.

"Better get home before they realize I am missing," I mumbled dragging myself up to the car.

"Only eight no one should be up now," I said groggily looking at the dashboard and rubbed my eyes.

Hold up!

Eight o'clock.

In the morning.

"Crap," I muttered starting the car and fishing my phone from my pocket.

"Fifty messages! I am so dead," I groaned and sped back to the castle.

Liam POV

It was eight hours into the day and no one knew where Alexandra is. Twelve hours! She had not returned last night and we left tons of messages for her but got no reply. We were worried sick.

"What if she is lying unconcious somewhere and needs our help?" Aunt Victoria wailed.

"Our daughter is fine," Uncle Jordan comforted his wife.

"I will send a search party for her," Nonna said summoning one of her guards when the door flung open.

"Sorry. I fell asleep by a lake and did not hear my phone. There is no need for a search party Sua Maestà. I am in one piece mom so stop wailing," her angelic voice rushed out as she skidded to a halt in the dining room.

She took a deep breath, composed herself then curtsied to my grandparents who chuckled at her antics. Even I could not hide my amusement as I smirked.

"Good to see you have other emotions other than anger and hatred," Nonno mused his eyes twinkling with mischief.

I glared at him and he busted into a fit of laughter.

"Go freshen up and meet us in the ball room in fifteen minutes, do not be late," Nonna said.

Alexandra nodded and left.

The ball room looked spectacular when I entered after my morning ride. Though it was exquisite my eyes did not focus on it. Instead they searched for a particular brunette who was running in all directions wearing blue pumps, dark blue jeans, a blue top and grey blazer with her hair flailing behind her.

She always brought a smile to my face and made my heart flutter. I was stupid to believe that she was capable of betraying her family and me. Instead of being understanding I behaved like an idiot and rejected her when she needed me most. I need to make up for my actions and I know exactly what I was going to do. She looked happy running about and ensuring everything was in perfect condition for tonight's activities.
