The next morning I was awakened by the King who ordered me to get dressed he was taking me out.
I sluggishly got out of bed and prepared for the day in a black off the shoulder jumpsuit, black pumps, black sunglasses and a black handbag. My hair was curled and flipped on one side. This is the first time I ever wore all over black. Not even at a funeral would you find me in purely black.
I avoided breakfast and went out to the awaiting limousine and King. He opened the car door for me with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. As soon as I got in I scrambled back out because there is no way in hell I was going anywhere with that woman.
"I am going back to bed. I will plan the remainder of the Ball from there. That is unless you do not want me to continue," I growled as the Queen exited the limousine with a scowl on her face.
"Both of you are going in that limousine and you are spending the day together planning the Ball and executing the tasks I delivered to Ally, your Lady in Waiting," the King said.
"No!" We barked at the same time.
"It is not up for discussion and if you only trying coming back here then I will send your right back until you settle your differences. Vivienne I know how stubburn you are but Alexandra is the perfect person for our grandson. Sure she made a few mistakes but who doesn't. Listen to her and you are not one to hold a grudge. Alexandra while you two are out see if you can tighten some of her loose screws and bring back the wife I once knew. The one who lives in the moment, does crazy ridiculous nonsense without a care in the world but most of all the one that I fell in love with. Have fun," he replied and shoved us in the car.
The ride was silent and awkward just like the first three hours we spent on the road.
The agenda set out for us included,
Breakfast
Event planning
Visiting an orphanage
Lunch
Arcading
More event planning
Attending a fashion show
Dinner.By the afternoon we were laughing like mother and daughter. Upon our arrival at the castle she asked me to join her on an evening stroll through the gardens.
"You heard what my husband said earlier. I do not hold grudges so I want you to tell me what really is the matter. Do not tell me you can not say anything because I may die. Any threat to me is considered treason and the penalty is death. Tell me Alexandra," she said.
I began telling her everything that I told the King and her expression grew grimmer and darker after every word.
"Here is what we will do ...." she began after I said everything.
She told me of a plan that if carried out correctly will be successful.
We exchanged a hug and then went our separate way.
Third Person
Liam was a ranging bull. He was constantly barking orders at his staff and being loud and annoying. He swore at everyone in sight and made a mess of everything and created additional work for the staff. In other words he was being a jerk. He was pissed that Alexandra had sided with someone to rob his family of their possessions but then again he does not know why she agreed to do it. He was adamant on not finding out believing that she had not gotten over her greed for money.
