Chapter 5: More of Us

a/n: Hello guys! So as you all might know (I think y'all know😅) YHboys will be joining this story! Some of their names were already mentioned in the previous chapters and for those who don't know them yet, we're going to meet them soon.

Today is currently Wednesday and a day has already passed since Xinlong did that act. Y'know, the 'apple' thingy.

I have to admit, it did made me blush a bit....okay who the heck am I kidding?! It made me blush like mad and my heart beats like crazy.

Xinlong........like, who wouldn't love him. He's cute and adorable.

My thoughts are all messed up but hey, no sweat I can handle this. Hopefully.

I snapped out of my thoughts as Shuyang called my name.

"Mingxiao- Jie~ Helloooo~ your spacing out again."

I sqeezed my eyes shut for a few second before I open them again as the boys eyed me waiting for my response.

It's currently our lunch period and here I am again with the boys eating.

"Y-yeah. I'm okay."

"You've been spacing out lately Mingxiao. Is everything alright?"

Mingrui asked a bit concern as I just gave him a smile.

"No really, I'm fine. It's just that I was thinking of the acquaintance party."

Zeyu stopped drinking his soda and said,

"Are you excited? You're going to make friends with the other Chinese students."

"Oh yeah! she still hasn't met the rest of the boys yet."

Xinlong added.

My eyes widened at what Zeyu said. 'Other Chinese students?' With that I can't help but ask a question.

"There's still more students from China?"

"Yes. There are still seven of them that you haven't met yet. Sorry we forgot to tell you. They weren't in school during the first day but I guess that's the point of the acquaintance party."

Hanyu said as he ate his food, then Shuyang added.

"We're all classmates with them except for you and Xinlong since Guanyi-ge is in the same class as Zeyu-ge."

I gave a hum in response and continued eating.

"Mingrui-ge how was your project with Enshuo-ge?"

Shuyang suddenly asked Mingrui and Mingrui hesitantly replied.

"Well....let's just say that Enshuo and I did our best."

Mingrui replied as he smiled awkwardly. Hanyu raised his eyebrows at him while Zihao asked him what went wrong.

"Yah! Gougou. I told you to finish your projects and assignments first before you play right?"

Mingrui laughed awkwardly, a bit embarrassed at what he did.

"Mingrui, next time don't get yourself into trouble again."

Zeyu added and Mingrui just nodded at his two elder bothers in agreement. I just watched them and chuckled while I continued eating.

"Mingxiao, are you nervous?"

Xinlong suddenly asked me which made me a bit startled.

"Nervous about what?"
