It's been days after the boys have left for China. Ever since then, I felt a suddenly rush of loneliness take over me. I don't know why I'm being like this but it certainly isn't helping me.Aside from that, I'm just glad that my father has returned home and he's also recovering well. Chenle and mom are doing well also.
It's so unfair. It seems like I'm the only one who isn't in a good state.
I've been reconsidering my mood for the past few days ever since they left. At first I thought it was just my period but that wasn't the reason. Next I thought it was just purely from stress in school and also the situation we've been facing, you know, the "danger" issue of our family, but turns out it wasn't the case either.
Recently, days felt like years to me and I sometimes question myself, "am I going nuts?!".
It wasn't long till I realized that I was just missing them. I miss their voices and their presence just makes me feel more joyful.
I haven't had any form of communication from them for the past days and I hope that sooner they'll be able to contact me again. I understand that they are busy and it's for the good of our family, so I have no choice but to stay patient and wait.
There won't be any lies though. I feel really empty and just lonely.
"When are they even coming back..." I muttered to myself as my eyes landed on the calendar sitting on my bedside table.
My eyes were glued to it as if it was the most interesting thing I've seen, until a knock was heard from my door.
"Yes? Who is it?" I shouted enough for them to hear.
"Mingxiao, get yourself downstairs we're gonna eat breakfast."
Chenle replied twisting the doorknob and entering the room.
"My gosh you look terrible." He said jokingly as he laughed. I just playfully rolled my eyes at him and giggled back.
"It's fine Chenle, You guys can go ahead. I'm not hungry anyways." I said lying back down my bed.
The boy sighed and walked near my bed sitting at the edge.
"What are you? Depressed? Oh c'mon Xiao I know you just miss them and you can't resist mom's cooking."
He said in the most sassy tone making me sit back up and laugh.
"Okay first of all I'm not depressed. Second of all yes I do miss them. They're my friends Chenle. Lastly, I'm really not hungry."
Chenle laughed while standing up, "okay then. Suit yourself, but if ever your hungry I'll leave left overs for you at the table." He said before running off downstairs.
I smiled and plopped back down on my bed, once again staring at the ceiling. The smile faded away and got replaced by a straight face.
"What to do....what to do...",I hummed not even moving an inch.
Zeyu's POV
"Zeyu, come down for breakfast darling."
I blinked towards the direction of the voice finding the maid at my bedroom door.
I sat up and gave her a smile before replying, "Thanks auntie Fei. I'll be right down in a minute."
Auntie Fei gave me a warm smile and a bow before proceeding to go downstairs. I stood up and walked to the window near my desk, staring at the bright sun light.
It was blinding, but I couldn't care less for my mind was off wandering somewhere else.
"I wonder how she's doing..." I muttered to myself as my mind immediately thought of Mingxiao's condition back in Korea.
Blinking a few times just to snap me out from my thoughts, I turned to walk away and go downstairs for breakfast
As I reached downstairs, I was greeted by my mom and dad at the table and of course auntie Fei who was cooking dumplings.
I took my seat between my parents and awkwardly sat there for a while. As if almost t immediately my thought wandered again to Mingxiao and I can't help but miss her.
My mom stopped reading her papers and looked at me a bit worried.
"Xiaoyu, is everything alright?" She asked.
I just smiled and shrugged, "Everything's fine mom. I'm just tired."
"Are you sure? We can get you medicine if you feel si-"
"No mom. It's fine. I'm okay." I cut her off giving her a reassuring smile.
Not long after, auntie Fei placed the plate of dumplings in front of us and we all settled around the table for a meal.

Xinlong's POV
"Xinlong? Do you want anything? You've been awfully quiet lately. Is something wrong sweetie?" My eyes turned to face the balcony door to find my mother standing with a soft expression.
"Uh, no mom I'm fine." I replied getting back to zoning out as I watched the city from the balcony.
I didn't notice that my mom took a seat at the coffee table next to me.
"Are you sure? You've never been like this. And c'mon son, I'm your mother, I know you." She said and pushed herself up to stand. She walked near me and patted my head.
"Tell me, are you perhaps... missing something? Or someone?" She asked with a little mischievous smile.
I have to admit my mother is really the best at reading me. My mouth formed a straight line, and my cheeks turned a tint of red at the thought of Mingxiao suddenly popped up.
My mother saw this and immediately her smile widened. She elbowed me slightly, teasing me about this "person".
"I knew it. Who is it son?"
She asked, this time poking my arm teasingly.
"Well, her name's Lu Mingxiao mom. I assume you know her since our family business are linked also to theirs and the other boys."
Just as she heard she gave me a shocked and happy expression.
"Goodness. I wasn't expecting that. In that case well done son." She hugged me making me feel confused but I still let out a giggle.
"The Lu's, ah yes! Such a great family. And yes they're really doing great improving the business," she stated, nodding her head in approval.
"I owe them a lot son. And They're really good family friends. Although...I've heard news..."
Her tone changed at the last sentence making me turn my head to her, waiting for what she has to say.
"I've heard about that accident that recently happened. I feel really sorry, but I'm glad that Mr. Lu is recovering."
Just as she said I immediately got what she was talking about making me hold her hand as I faced her with a serious face.
"Mom, is this true? About our family and our family friends' situation? This Danger?"
Her eyes widened, "So indeed, you've been informed by Chenle I assume?"
I nodded and she smiled in relief, "Yes son. We're in danger but don't worry me and the others are doing everything we can to stay safe. I've already contacted the Lu's, Yu's and the Zhang's for a quick meeting. I'm still trying to reach the others."
She said in a worried yet persuasive tone.
"Don't worry mom, me and the others are also doing out best to help."
She nodded her head with a proud look. She smiled, "Thank you son."
