Duluth, Georgia.

June 27th - 30th, 2018.

Forward Conference, Free Chapel Organization. Jentezen Franklin.

Infinite Energy Center.

13,000 people.

Teams: Hypebeast. Finesse. G.O.A.T. Supreme.

The best few days of my life with the best people to spend it with.

I got to know my youth group as my family. I got to bond with 13,000 people who I didn't even know. We were all going through the same struggles and God put us all together for a purpose.

The first session, we got into our designated teams. Our group was Hypebeast. Tribe wars were announced. The prize? The Loot Llama. All the groups were going crazy. We wanted the prize. I mean, who doesn't?

The Wheel of Punishment. If you did ANYTHING wrong and your youth leader texted the conference leaders, you got on stage in front of everyone there and spun for your punishment.

The Dating Game. In every session, there was a live version of The Bachelorette on stage. Of course the guy me and my friend wanted to win won.

Forward Quest. A game that was made just for the conference. 4 different levels of a Mario simulation that won points for your tribe, 10 VIP tickets to your youth group and an iPhone X.

Day 1: Elevation Worship performed. Reggie Dabbs preached. Brock Byrd preached.

Day 2: Hillsong Y&F and Jackie Lee performed. Laura Toggs preached. Banning Liebscher preached.  Jentezen Franklin preached.

Day 3: Jesus Culture and Free Chapel Music performed. Sy Rogers preached. Jake Fouquier preached.

Every day, every session I got closer with my youth group.

Our first night there, they had everyone pull out their flash lights and all the light were off. They asked us questions, and if you struggled with it, to put your light up, and see that you weren't alone. Other people were in the same boat as you, you didn't have to sink.

Our second night there, we all had our arms wrapped around each other crying. We knew that we all struggled with something, but we were all here for each other.

On our third night, we sad goodbye to everyone and my tribe won the Tribe Wars. It was so exciting seeing all these people come together and worship God.

I always believed in God. But I never really had a good connection with him until after this trip.

We had some fun every day too, it wasn't just all church time.

We got to dress up and go shopping and explore Atlanta and just hang out with everyone.

We pranked one of the parents every night with water balloons and confetti.

This trip was an amazing experience and I can't wait for next year.
