"What brought you here?" Lindsey shouted over the noise, leaning next to her against the bar.

"I was held hostage!" Stevie shouted back at him, Lindsey struggling  to hear her. He shook his head, grabbing her hand. Stevie's eyes widened as he dragged her through the crowd, stumbling behind him.

He pulled her in to a darkened hallway, traveling towards the end of it and pushing the door open. She followed him in, her eyes glancing around the dressing room nervously.

"Sorry." He gave her a sheepish smile. "I couldn't hear a god damn word you were saying."

Stevie shook him off, taking another look around the room. "It's alright."

He sank down on the leather couch, his arm slinging across the back of it. "Would you like to sit?"

Stevie hesitated, glancing towards the door.

"I don't bite." Lindsey grinned at her. She hesitantly nodded, taking a seat on the farthest cushion from him. He brought his beer to his lips, eyeing her.

Stevie squirmed under his gaze, turning to look at him. "Why am I here?"

"What do you mean?"

"Why me?"

Lindsey grinned at her, his eyebrow raising. "You ask a lot of questions."

"Why?" She questioned him again.

He shrugged, leaning back against the couch. "I think your beautiful, and I like your energy."

Stevie pursed her lips, glancing at him. "Is that what you say to all the girls you bring back here?"

Lindsey flashed her a smile. "I don't know, you're the first one."

"You expect me to believe that?"

"Why wouldn't you?"

Stevie shrugged this time, her eyes falling to her cup. "In all honesty I wasn't that in to the show, I was dragged here against my will."

Lindsey frowned. "You don't like our music?"

   "I liked one part."

   "What was that?"

"You." Their eyes met, Stevie not looking away. "I've never heard anyone play like you do, it was amazing.

A smile grew on Lindsey's face, scratching the back of his head. "Thanks. I dig you, a lot."

"I dig you too." Stevie smiled back at him. "Your music I mean."

"So why are you here then?" Lindsey questioned her.

"My friend dragged me with her, she said I needed a break from studying."

   "What are you studying?"

"I'm working on getting my bachelors in education."

Lindsey nodded in approval, taking a sip of his drink. "Interesting."

He scooted closer to her, his arm resting behind her shoulders on the arm of the couch. "Would it be bad if I said I wanted to kiss you?"

Stevie's eyes flashed to his, her heart skipping a beat. "I'd say, I'm a complete stranger and you don't even know me."

"I want to get to know you."

Stevie'a cheeks turned red, taking a deep breath. "I should get going." She stood from the couch, feeling him grab her hand.
