Her head was swimming, a sharp pain shooting through her skull. Stevie tried to open her eyes, flinching them closed from the sudden blast of sunlight. She felt cramped, now noticing Lindsey practically sleeping on top of her.

As she came to full consciousness she was unsettled to realize she and Lindsey were sleeping in the back of a car; which she didn't recognize.

Squirming her arm out from between her and him, she patted his shoulder, gently tugging at his curls.  "Lindsey."

"Huh?" He grumbled out, not moving a muscle.

    "Who's car is this?"

A frown etched across his face, lifting his head and taking in his surroundings. "Shit." He grumbled. "I don't know."

"We have to get out of here."

Lindsey nodded in agreement, scrambling off of her. He got out of the car, quickly helping Stevie.

He looked at the street they were on, scratching the back of his head. "Where the fuck are we?"

"I don't know." Stevie looked around helplessly.

"Hey," he nudged her. "There's a pay phone, I'll call Brian."

Stevie nodded, shakily stumbling after him. They approached the pay phone that was outside of a restaurant. Picking a quarter from his pocket, he slid it in the slot and dialed Brian's number.

"Hey man." Lindsey greeted. "Can you come get me and Stevie?"

There was a moment of silence, Stevie gnawing on her bottom lip as she tried to listen in.

"I don't know, we're outside of some restaurant. It's called Mario's.... Ok thanks man."

He hung up, sighing heavily. "He's going to come and get us."

Stevie sighed in relief, looking around confused. "Where are we?"

"I have no fucking clue." Lindsey shook his head.

       "What happened last night?"

"I have no fucking clue." He repeated with more emphasis. Stevie huffed, crossing her arms as she looked confused at her surrounding.
....................

Stevie was relieved to see the tour bus and for the drive to be over. She was feeling nauseous, and confused. She had no recollection of last night; she was was still drunk.

Tripping towards the bus, she didn't bother to say hello to anyone, stumbling all the way to the bedroom. Lindsey followed her, being stopped by his band mates.

"Dude what were you two doing all the way in San Bernardino?" Javier asked.

"I have no clue man, but I feel like shit. I'm going to sleep it off."

   "Alright." Javier let him be.

Lindsey left them all to talk, entering the tiny room he shared with Stevie. He saw her hunched over on the edge of the bed, her eyes clenched shut.

   "Are you ok?"

"I feel like I got hit by a truck."

"That could have happened." He flopped down next her, laying on his back. "I can't remember shit."

"I have to get out of these clothes." She heaved herself off the bed, shimming her skirt down her legs. She peeled her shirt off, Lindsey's eyes bulging and he leaned up on his elbows.
