A dull throbbing in her skull made it's presence known as she slowly began to awaken. She could feel the sun hitting her bare back through the window blind, the jostling of the bus churning her stomach even more.

Finding the strength to sit up, Stevie glanced around the room disoriented. She also noticed the side of the bed next to her was empty.

Crawling out from under the covers, she grabbed the first thing she saw (Lindsey's shirt) and tossed it over her nude body. Finding a pair of shorts, she tugged them on and left the room. She slowly made her way to the front of the bus, now seeing through the window that they were stopped.

She hesitantly walked to the front of the bus, gnawing on her bottom lip as she looked for Lindsey. She didn't see him, only his three band members. Clearing her throat, she made her presence known, wrapping her arms around herself. She shifted her weight from foot to foot as they all looked at her.

"Do you guys know where Lindsey is?"

The three men shook their head. Javier sat sprawled across the sofa, flipping through a magazine. "He left a little while ago, probably to pick up weed or something."

"Oh." Stevie nodded her head in acknowledgement, shifting from foot to foot. She didn't know whether to sit and join them or retreat back to her room. Luckily, Bob noticed her discomfort.

"Stevie do you want some coffee?"

"That would be great, thanks."

Bob nodded, getting up from his seat. He grabbed a coffee cup from the cabinets and the pot from it's burner. Pouring her a cup, he handed it over.

"Thanks." Stevie took a sip, thankful for the caffeine to wake her up a little. She stood awkwardly, her eyes darting around the room. "Did Lindsey say where he was going?"

"No. Not a word." Bob shook his head, lighting up a joint.

Javier raised an eyebrow at Stevie, clearing his throat. "I hope you're not getting too involved."

Stevie's eyebrows furrowed together, her mouth turning. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"You and Lindsey. You know it's not a thing right? As soon as this tours over he's going to find someone exactly like you."

Stevie stood with her mouth open, not knowing what to say.

"Shut the fuck up dude." Bob smacked him on the arm, shooting a glare his way.

"I'm not trying to be an asshole, just...don't get your hopes up. You're not the first girl he's brought along on the road and you won't be the last."

As soon as the words left his mouth, the door to the bus swung open and Lindsey stepped in; carrying a couple bags. "Hey."
He greeted everyone. Setting the bags down on the counter, he noticed Stevie, a grin forming on his face.

"Hey you." He approached her, his hands sliding in to her hair. He leaned down to kiss her, Stevie turning her head and backing away.

"What's wrong?" Lindsey frowned.

Stevie shook her head, turning around and retreating to the back room. Lindsey watched after her confused, turning to his band mates. "What happened?"

"Javier was being an asshole." Bob quipped out, not taking his eyes off the playboy in his hands.

Lindsey's eyes shifted to Javier; the man in question raising his hands in defense. "I didn't do shit. I just gave her a reality check. Excuse me for trying to help the chic out."
