Chapter Twenty-Six: Let's make amends

Y/N's POV

You rolled out of bed at the sound of your alarm and walked grudgingly to the couch where you left Savitar. You lightly tapped him on the shoulder.

"Barry...Barry, get up so we can go somewhere." He opened his eyes tiredly and looked at you, his face softening.

"Y/N, hey, why are you up so early?" He asked, rubbing his eyes with his fists. You raised an eyebrow at him.

"Barry, it's 9:00 in the morning, if we want to have enough time to talk with the team before people start attacking the city then we need to get ready now."

"The team?" You nodded. "I'm going to take you to the team and convince them you're not going to hurt them anymore." He scowled.

"They're not going to believe you Y/N..." You rolled your eyes. "Quit being pessimistic and go get ready, I'll be done soon." He rolled his eyes and threw his head back on the couch. 

"Barry I meant now, not an hour from now!" You yelled as you walked into your bathroom. 

----Time Skip----

You walked into S.T.A.R. Labs, Savitar walking uneasily behind you. You stopped in your tracks and turned around to him.

"It'll be fine Barry, I know they'll except you, they're my friends." He smiled uneasily until you reached out and took his hand. You then led him into the main room, where all of your friends suddenly stopped what they were doing and stared at you wide-eyed.

"Y/N, what is he doing here?" Barry asked uneasily. 

"Relax Barry, he's not going to hurt anyone, I trust him. Remember me saying that last night? And look, he didn't hurt me, so he won't hurt you." You replied reassuringly.

"Okay...So you want to start by telling us why he's here?" Barry asked, raising an eyebrow, before he turned towards Savitar.

"Because-" You began but Barry cut you off. "No Y/N, I want to hear it from him, I want to know why he's here from him." Savitar looked at Barry and cocked his head.

"Barry, I'm not going to suddenly attack everyone in here." Barry rolled his eyes.

"Really because you did the other night." 

"That's only because you had to be difficult and not hand over Y/N."

"I didn't know she was your soulmate the other night or I would've." Barry retorted defensively. Suddenly Cisco began to speak, annoyed at their irrational bickering.

"Guys, cool it. We won't get anywhere if you keep fighting. Now Y/N brought you here for a reason Savitar, to make amends and if we want to do that we have to talk civilly to one another." Both nodded and looked back at each other with squinted eyes.

"Now you know why I'm here, so next question." Savitar said. 

"Fine, why was it so necessary for you to make amends, I mean after all you did, why now?" Savitar looked down at his shoes and then back up at Barry.

"It's okay, no one will judge you." You whispered to him. He looked at you and then back at Barry before he spoke.

"Before everything happened, I knew no one in this entire city, so I had no one to stop terrorizing cities and towns for. Then I met Y/N and I finally had a reason, other than just giving up, to stop my reign of terror and turn over a new leaf. I saw how much you guys meant to her when she talked about you and I admit this morning when she told me to get ready so that we could come here, I was a bit hesitant, but then I realized it would make her happy and give me some relief on all of the guilt I feel." Barry stared back at him confused.

"Wait you said 'this morning.'" Suddenly his eyes-widened. "Wait-Did you guys spend the night together?" He asked alarmed. Savitar rolled his eyes and you began to blush.

"No-no, it's not like that. He slept on the couch and I was in my bed. Nothing happened, we just talked..." You spoke rapidly. Wally giggled from behind the desk.

"God Y/N, could you seem anymore obvious?" You rolled your eyes jokingly before Wally spoke again.

"So Barry, is that all you heard from Savitar's entire spiel?" He asked chuckling.

"Well-I-Yeah." He admitted. "Sorry, I wasn't listening."

"Until that part." Wally added, pointing at Barry. "Yes Wally, until that part." He repeated.
