Mal's POV:
They looked in our direction, I turned back around and looked at Peyton with wide eyes.

Mal: Why are they here?

Peyton: Well, we're in a popular mall, so.

Mal: Alright. We need to get out of here.

Peyton: Why? This is your opportunity to tell your family you're okay.

Mal: I can't.

Peyton: Don't you miss them?

Mal: Like crazy. If there's a chance I don't make it home, I'm not getting their hopes up.

She was going to say something but I cut her off.

Mal: Seriously, it's better for them to forget and move on. Until I'm certain, I'm going home.

A sad looked washed over her face. Yet, she didn't argue anymore.

Peyton: If that's what you want, okay.

Mal: Thank you.

Peyton: My only question is, how are we getting past them?

Mal: What do you mean?

Peyton: They're blocking the exit closest to where we parked.

Mal: We'll go to another exit?

Peyton: That's on the other side of the mall.

Mal: That doesn't seem very safe. Alright, let me think.

I scanned the room, trying to make a plan. I saw our Hot Topic bag. I remembered Peyton bought me some clothes.

Mal: I got it! You bought me a few hoodies at Hot Topic! We'll just walk past them.

Peyton: Hoods on, heads down. Could work.

I pulled  two hoodies out and handed her one. After we were disguised enough, we started walking their way.

Luke's POV:
One month and one week. That's how long she's been gone. The girl I am head-over-heels in love with is missing.

Not one of us has given up. Today was another day spent searching this unfamiliar town, to find her. Ashton and I teamed up, and we decided to look at the mall.

I know, why would someone bring the person they kidnapped to the mall? Well, why would someone kidnap another person? The world is full of unanswered, weird questions. Besides, it one of the places we didn't look.

We're looking in the food court. Actually I can't even call it a food court, the section for places to eat is more of a mini strip-mall. Anyway, we were going to get a drink when I shockingly *eye roll* bumped into a girl.

When we collided she fell to the ground.

Luke: Dammit!

Ashton: Bloody hell man!

I smacked him.

Luke: I'm really sorry. I wasn't looking where I was going.

Mal: I-it's okay.

She mumbled in a whisper.

I wanted to get a look at her face, so I could formally apologize. She kept moving her galaxy looking hair, and hood over her face. I gave her my hand and helped her up. She still didn't look at me.
