"lily! Get your ass in the kitchen!"

Lily got up from her bed and slightly laughed, her grandma was a weird one sometimes. She got to the kitchen where Carol spent most of her time.

"are you good?" she asked.

"where'd you get that blue teddy from, the one on your bed?"

"from a friend" lily shrugged.

"the kid I saw you laughing with yesterday?" her grandma smirked.

"your such a stalker! Omg"

"anyway, I'm sending you to the mall, here's the list. Better get everything on there or else I won't be Making you any dishes this week"

Lily grabbed the list and went upstairs to change. She wore some black ripped jeans and a mustard yellow turtle neck. Her hair was up in a messy bun as she was too tired to do anything with it. She got out of the house, heading to the mall.

She wasn't gonna go alone and over the past days, she had been texting Ethan as they had exchanged numbers so she decided to invite him to the mall.

She waited patiently at the entrance of the mall. After a while she noticed Ethan's car and she waved like a mad woman trying to make him notice her. Which he eventually did as it was not hard to miss. He let her get into the car and they parked and headed inside the mall.

"so what are we getting?"

She showed him the list, it wasn't a long one, thank God.

"alright, let's start with all these vegetables" Ethan said.

She agreed and grabbed a trolley, which she ended up sitting in it as Ethan pushed her as fast as he could through the who mall.

"to the vegetable section!" she screamed at the top of her lungs, earning so many stares but they didn't mind.

They got to the section, grabbing everything they needed. They continued buying a bunch of other stuff. They stopped and bought, milk, cheese, yogurt and ice cream.

"cookies and cream!!!!"

"oh and cookie dough," Ethan added.

She grabbed both and threw them to Ethan and he caught each perfectly and shoved them into the cart. They continued shopping and the cart got heavier and heavier. Lastly they bought a bunch of snacks and candy.

At this point, they were singing the theme song of backyardigans, a childhood show that they both so happened to watch. They sang at the top of their lungs as they shoved countless numbers of candy and snacks into the cart. They nearly got kicked out but luckily didn't.

After paying, they headed out and sat in Ethan's car, listening to music as they ate sour patch kids and took energy drinks. They talked and laughed as they got know each other even more.

"I have tripaphobia, I've had it since birth" lily told Ethan.

"your lying me too, i also have the one where you get irritated by people chewing loud and it's so annoying"

"omfg me too!!!"

They laughed as they got to know how alike they were, yet so different. It was such a beautiful thing and to think it was all cause of the library.
