Lily woke up, only to find herself in a bed that wasn't hers. She immediately sat up and when Ethan walked out of the bathroom, she immediately relaxed. She scanned the room, taking in his scent that calmed her down even more.

"hey" he softly spoke, walking towards her.

"hi"

Ethan walked to her and sat next to her. She laid her head on his chest while he wrapped his arm around her. She let out a deep breath, one she didn't know she was holding but was glad she had let it go. They stayed in silence, mostly because Ethan didn't know exactly what to say. He didn't know what to tell her without triggering her tears. But then again, it was OK to cry. It was OK to let all the emotions get out, instead of bottling them up.

"how do you feel?" he asked, cautiously.

"I don't" she simply replied.

A new silence consumed them, Ethan didn't want to talk about this anymore. It was better for her to get her mind of this. It was gonna be hard, but she finally would.

"let's play COD" Ethan abruptly spoke.

Lily slightly laughed at his sense of humor, but nevertheless she agreed happily. She wanted to get her mind off stuff and this would be just the way.

They sat on Ethan's bed after he set up the game. They chose their guns and everything, the place and the game mode.

"let's do free for all" lily suggested.

After picking the 'combine' as the place to fight they started to play the game. Lily was extremely into this, something she had developed over the years, competitiveness. She loved winning, but when she didn't, she was cool but preferred to win. She took the game more serious that Ethan did and she was already leading in kills.

He was happy that she had taken her mind of her grandma, though she'd have to remember when they'd go to her funeral. But she put that at the back of her head and focused on now. She knew her grandma wouldn't have wanted her to cry her eyes out, all day. Though she was still going to cry, she'd Try and control it.

"I won! Yes bitch, suck that" lily got up and started jumping up and down.

She had most kills, followed by two random people then Ethan in 4th place.

"rigged, fucking rigged. I had more kills than surka101 how are they 3rd place!" Ethan shouted.

Lily laughed at him, as she knew he was pissed that he was 4th place. After a while, they ended up playing more games, this time Ethan getting more competitive and winning a few. By the time the sun was down they were still at it, playing Mario cart.

Fortnite is overrated, like yeah I get its a good game but it's not that good. People should just chill with it
