Chapter 7

I wake up feeling toasty warm and so comfortable I could stay still forever. I attempt to turn over but suddenly notice the weight on my waist... An arm... And the warmth beside me is...

"IAN!" I yell in confusion. He sits up in a hurry and starts looking around the room in panic.

"What?! What's wrong?" he asks looking flustered.

"Why the hell are you in my bed?" My face showing total confusion as I look at him in question.

To my surprise he just starts to crack up laughing, which only makes me frown deeper.

"What's so funny?"

"Lo-look around you Anna." he manages through his chuckles.

I take a look around and gasp once I realize I'm in Ian's room.

But... How the hell did I get in here...

"Oh shit!" I state while jumping up and out of the bed. "Geez, I'm sorry... I guess I was still half asleep and I had a bad dream.. So I came here and-" Ian cuts off my mindless babbling by putting up a hand and giving me a small smile.

"It's fine. Really."

"Alright.." I state lamely.

I then take a look at the rest of Ian and see he is only in boxers. I actually have to stop myself from admiring his toned chest but as I drag my eyes from his body to his face, I'm met by his trade mark smirk and a knowing look in his eyes.

"See something you like?"

Damn... busted.

I awkwardly look around the room, purposely avoiding his gaze as my eyes come across the clock.

"Shit, I need to go, I have an appointment I need to be at the bridge in 30 minutes." How I manage to stay asleep for so long, I have no clue but it's already 3:30pm and I said I would meet Oz round 4:00.

"How long does it take to get to get to the bridge from here?" I ask in a hurry.

"About...twenty I guess."

"Alright, that'll have to do...” I mutter as I get ready to leave.

"Don't worry, I'll drive you, it'll take less time."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, I may as well. I can probably call up come friends and meet them around there." he says, a thoughtful look in his eyes.

Im already out the door and down the stairs by the time he even realized I'd left.

Oz doesn't appreciate being held up so I always try to get there early.

Once Ian makes it to the bottom of the stairs, I wait to let him lead. He moves forward and in front of me but instead of opening the door he turns around and just looks at me with amused eyes. I look back at him curiously.

"What now?" I ask quickly.

"Do you really want to go out in that?" he asks, well more like states, while looking me over.

I look down at the baggy shirt and sigh in frustration. "Guess not... You should probably get changed too." I grumble looking him over again. "Not like the girls would mind anyway..." I state without thinking.

I can feel a blush creeping up, so in my attempt to hide it, as well as avoid embarrassing myself further, I rush up the stairs and away from Ian. Still managing to catch a glimpse of his raised eye brow and cocky smirk though.
