Chapter 25
I sat pretending to watch tv.
"I'll be back soon babe!" Olivia yelled out to Ian, glaring at me before slamming the door shut behind her.
I heard him come up to stand behind me. "I'm just gonna have a quick shower, " I had to keep my mind from wandering with thoughts of him, under hot steaming water running down his bare chest. "I won't be long.."
I stared after him. Wanting to jump in that shower with him but I had to keep on track.
Once I heard his bedroom door snap shut and the shower turn on, I quietly moved from the couch to his door and stood there listening for a moment, making sure he was in the bathroom.
I gently opened the door, cringing as the hinges made the slightest noise but squeezed myself through the gap anyway and entered there bedroom.
I looked around at a large room similar to mine. The light was peeking through the half open bathroom door and I had to remind myself to hurry up.
There was a large wooden wardrobe in the far corner, next to it was a similar bed side table and by looking at the girly objects on top I assumed it was Olivia's.
Quietly rushing over to them I chose to search her table first, opening the draws and searching through it all but finding nothing but useless papers and makeup.
I sighed and glanced at the bathroom door again. I ran over to the wardrobe and opened each draw, searching through the piles of neatly folded clothes but found nothing again.
I ran a hand through my hair in frustration, suppressing the urge to rip this room apart.
Instead I noticed the shower had turned off and hurried out of the room, silently closing the door behind me.
My mind was running with so many thoughts. I just wanted to find something, anything that made her seem less perfect.
I can't compete with someone perfect.
But I knew there was something off about her and I would find it.
I suddenly heard two beeps next to me and looked down at a pink cased iPhone 5. 1 new voicemail read on the screen and I let my curiosity get the better of me.
I quickly looked around before unlocking it, it was foolish for her not to have a pass code. I brought the phone to my ear and listened intently as a female voice played back. 'Olivia Jones, the results for your tests are back and it's recommended you come pick them up as soon as possible. If you have any questions you can call the hospital office on-' I heard footsteps behind me and locked the phone, placing it back on the table.
"Did you want anything to eat?" Ian asked, walking past me to the kitchen.
"I.. Uh, was planning to go out today.." I stated unsure of myself. "I won't be long."
He looked at me curiously. "Well alright, be safe."
I just nodded and walked towards the door quickly.
"Anna, Your okay right?" he was staring at me with worry reflecting of his ice blue eyes, making me sigh. I was always making him worried.
"I promise. I'll be back soon."
With that I left the hotel and started walking.
The good thing was that everything in this town was pretty close together.

I didn't even have a plan as I walked into the large hospital, looking around at the crowded waiting room, surrounded by the faces of the sick, worried and heavily pregnant patients.
It was a little overwhelming but I eventually found the office and said the first thing to come to my mind as the aged lady looked at me expectantly.
"Im here to pick up my sisters results, she wasn't feeling well." I said totally unsure about what to ask for.
"Right, and what's your sisters name?"
"Olivia..." I raked my brain for her last name. "Uh.. Jones!" I stated with a little to much enthusiasm as I remembered the voice message.
She looked at me strangely. "Right, and your name?" she asked looking behind me, where there was a building line of waiting people.
"Sydney Jones." I said more smoothly than before.
"Okay, you just fill out this form and I'll be right back." she mumbled and hurried away.
I quickly filled it out, along with a fake signature and waited for her return.
She came back moment later and handed me a large envelope. I looked at it nervously, this could contain information I needed.
"Tell Miss Jones that if she has further questions, to call her doctors number."
I nodded. "Thank you." I mumbled and rushed out of there.
I went around the corner, already ripping open the envelope and skimming through the contents.
'I regret to inform you that your resent attempts for the In Vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment have not succeeded. If you wish to continue-'
I stopped reading. Completely shocked by this new information.
And it could only lead to one thing.
Olivia couldn't conceive.
I had no idea what to do with this information.
Should I tell Ian? Confront Olivia?
There was so much to consider but I decided to put my faith in Ian like always.
I basically ran back to the hotel and all the way to the room, accidentally crashing into people here and there but having no thought to even say sorry.
My mind was just to get to Ian, before Olivia.
My mind was still reeling with information as I bashed my fist on the door loudly, until the door opened to reveal her, standing there, totally oblivious to the wrath she was about to face.
"Do you really think it would work?!" I yelled as my anger began to boil. "Who do you think you are!"
She scoffed. "Me? Who are you?! To be coming in to MY room, and yell at ME? What an ungrateful little bitch." she snared under her breath, looking at me like scum.
I clenched my fists and pushed her, stepping forward as she stumbled back into the room pathetically.
