Hell Bent

Chapter5[The dungeon]

Rose's POV:

Rose slowly opened her eyes and started moving her head from side to side to examine the room feeling pain sting in her head. All she could make out is darkness every where. When she gained full conciseness she remembered what happened she lifted her body from the ground to stand up. She looked around turning in all directions and still saw nothing. She started panicking and backed up and fell over something . She breath heavily reaching out to touch whatever she fell over when she touch it she felt some sort of rubber surface . She went to stand on her knees to investigate the object. She took both her hands and traced the out lines of it.

''Ahh'' she screamed and backed away from it to only push her hand into something soggy . She jumped up and fell over another object with her hand on another . Then she felt small things move over her hand , maggots. She was in a room with bodies. She jumped up again breathing heavily when she felt a wall behind her she backed up against it only now realising the stench that was in the air .It was different kind of stench the one you don't smell unless you work at a morgue. Death. She started sobbing after a few ours she couldn't stand anymore so she sat down against the wall. The longer she was here the more she could acknowledge the room she was in .The bodies were here long before she came and they were here for a long time when they were alive . She could smell the sourness of the vomit and the urine but the worst was the sound of the maggots eating the bodies. She couldn't tell if it was day or night or how long she was out for. For ours she sat there thinking her eyes would get use to the darkness and she would be able to see where she was but for the ours that she spent in here she could only see darkness. She started believing that she went blind.

Ours past were she found herself sobbing and then telling herself it is all just a dream that she is going to wake up in her soft warm bed with the smell of pancakes in the air and her mom singing down stairs making them for her. Finally she stood up turning around she put both her hands on the wall and walked around the room to find anything that will tell her were she is. She went on then she suddenly felt cold metal bars and behind them were open space. 'a cell' she thought.

''Is anyone there!?'' she yelled shaking the bars. She started feeling the adrenaline pumping through her vanes. ''Is anyone there!?'' she yelled as loud as she could. She kept yelling and screaming , shaking the bars with all her strength for minutes until she finally just fell to her knees and started crying. Again ours past Rose was starting to go out of her mind. 'The bodies the smell the maggots the bodies the smell the maggots the bodies the smell the maggots the bodies the smell the maggots' She thought over again . Then she lifted her head up.

''The darkness'' she whispered.

She stood up and started to study her surroundings again. Three bodies, a lot of vomit and urine in one corner meaning they were here so long to make a rule to only use one corner for a toilet. One window small not even a head could fit through , it had bars old school. Like those dungeons on Game Of Thrones. Rose yelled an screamed through the window but the screams only echoed and no one had come to her saving. She couldn't hear anything except for the sound of wind and through the window was more darkness no stars just darkness. She went back to the wall and rested her head against it. Not a few minutes later she felt herself drift into sleep.

Ours past by again and Rose felt herself wake up to the sound of loud screams and heavy foot stumps. She jumped up and ran to the window . She pulled herself up and saw men carrying two other men away from where Rose was. They were carrying torches and the men being carried and the men carrying the men were deferent. When Rose concentrated she saw it was two human men being carried and the men carrying them or the things were deferent .They had horns they looked like bulls walking on legs and have arms and they were wearing armour. As they disappeared in the distance Rose could feel relive over come her body knowing she didn't go blind but felt more frightened of what she just s saw. Those things frightened her and they were taking humans away.' What if the thing that brought me here was going to make those things take me to were ever it was they were taking those poor men. Why are there even things that look like that. Maybe I'm in a comma.' She thought to be cut of by her stomach crumbling . She haven't eaten since she got here and what she could assume was more than 24 ours.

Rose was there for plenty more ours her stomach stopped growling at some point as if it gave up . Rose was to frightened to scream for help again so she just sat there quietly letting her mind take her away from her surroundings she let her mind take her to good places and memories.

''Rose come on we don't want to be late.'' Tania said as Rose put on her eyeliner .

''Hang on'' Rose said as she concentrated to make the best out of her lashes.

''Sneaking out is gonna be so fun.'' Tania said happy as ever.

Tania got us invites to a senior party we were only in 6th grade back then and Tania always talked me into going to parties etc. We had a blast and by us I mean Tania I just sat on the sofa drinking soda until my mom found us missing in my room and I didn't know she had a tracker on my phone. We both were grounded for a month.

'I wonder if Tania is looking for me , of course she is . She is probably searching through the depts. of the sea toe find me. She must be worries sick.' Rose thought to herself. She laid herself down on the ground and fell asleep.
