Chapter 9 [Hurt]

The woman got of Lucius covering herself with the blanket.

''You... you are the one who told him where I was. You are the reason he killed my mom.'' Rose said with her voice cracking.

''Come on Rose. You would have done the same thing for love.'' The she looked at Lucius and smiled.

''No I wouldn't have not to you not to my best friend. Tania how could you do this to me.''

''Well I love him and he is going to turn me into one of his demons. Then we will be together forever. Right my love?'' Tania asked Lucius.

Lucius got up from the bed putting his pants back on and walking to the back of Tania putting both his hands on her shoulders.

''Well, I might of told a white lie to find Rose.'' Lucius said with a grin. Before Tania could answer he took both his hands and put one of his hands on her chin and the other on the back of her head and snapped her head.

Tania's limped body fell to the floor and Lucius stepped over her to get to where Rose stood with her hands on her mouth, tears falling down her face.

''You killed her.'' Rose whispered as she gazed at Tania's body.

''Isn't that what you wanted?'' Lucius asked as he walked around Rose. ''She is the reason your mother is dead.'' He said trying to make her believe what he did was right.

''No.'' Rose turned to where he stood. ''You are the reason why my mom is dead. You are the reason I grew up without a father. You decided to murder them. It is YOUR FAULT!'' Rose yelled at him as she charged at him swinging and kicking at him.

Lucius gripped her arm and hold it tight against his chest making it imposable for Rose to move.

''You are walking in thin ice Rosemary Romero. I chicest you go back to your room or do you want the same faith as your dear friend over there.'' he whispered in her ear. He let her arms go and called one of his guards to take her to her room.

When she entered the room and closed the door she fell to the floor bursting into tears. 'What have I done to deserve all of this. First mama then Tania turns her back on me. ' she thought as she whimpered.

The door opened and closed with Kat holding a silver platter she walked to the bed stand putting it down and then walked back to Rose. She bended down and hugged Rose , Rose returned the hug still whimpering .

''I am so sorry .'' Kat said as she stroked Roses hair.

After few minutes Rose pulled away from the hug.

''Why is he keeping me here?''

''I don't know. He wont tell anyone.''

Rose looked down.

''I brought you some food . You haven't eaten in days.''

''I'm not hungry.''

''But your body is.''

Rose finally gave into the food and ate the whole plate that Kat brought her.

''Okay you ate now it is time to sleep.'' Kat said.

''I don't..'' Kat cut Rose off.

''I wont let anyone come in here okay.''

''Fine.''

Rose climbed in the bed and settled in not even few minutes past and she was fast asleep. Kat kept her promise and sat on a chair at the door making sure nobody entered. Few ours past and Rose got woken up by Kat shaking her.

''Come on get up.'' Kat said as she handed Rose her boots.

''What why?'' Rose asked getting up still half asleep.

''I won't let you go through what I have. Lucius took me and did things to me.'' Her voice cracked. ''I won't ever let that happen to anyone else. But if we are going to do this you have to do exacly as I say okay?'' Kat asked serious.

''Okay.'' Rose said.

''Put on your shoes and wear this Ill wait outside , hurry.'' Kat said and then walked out the door.

Rose put on her boots and the long black hood them made her way to the door.

''Look down and move fast.'' Kat said as they started speed walking. They went all the way down the stair the adrenalin running through Rose. Every corner they turned Rose was frightened they might get caught but nothing they made it to a door and stopped.

''If you pas this door you are in a very unsafe place. Keep moving no matter what. Keep your head down and try to stay under the trees. Don't stop for anything just keep moving. If you keep moving west you will find a volcano. Then start climbing it until you reached the top. Take this.'' Kat gave Rose a red crystal. ''When this lights up you jump.''

''Into the volcano?'' Rose asked worried.

''A witch gave me this when she visited Lucius she felt sorry for me and told me if I ever want to leave I must take the crystal to the volcano and when it lights up I must jump. The crystal gives a heads up to when a portal is open to earth. It only lights up every full moon and tonight is a full moon on earth. You have to do this right or else your soul will be lost forever.''

''I , thank you so much . What about you?'' Rose asked.

''Don't worry about me. Go before it's to late.''

Rose hugged Kat and took the door knob in her hand.

''Don't look back just keep running.'' Kat said and opened the door. ''Go.''

Rose held the crystal tight in her hand and ran as fats as she could. She kept running and running until she saw the volcano. When she reached it she started climbing she was halfway up and her curiosity got the better of her and she looked down. She looked back up and when she reached for the rock it broke and her hand slipped she almost tumbled down but her feet was secured she took a deep breath in and started climbing again. She reached the top and started walking to the orange light when she saw two demons stand on the other site laughing and drinking a liquid what she assumed was alcohol. She fell to her stomach when one of them looked her way but he saw her.

''Hey you !'' One of them yelled and they picked up their weapons and started to make their way to Rose. She stood up and looked at the crystal but it haven't lighten up yet . The volcano was wide and the tow demons were at the opposite sit where Rose stood but they ran fats and she started running the other way. She looked at the crystal again but it was still dark red. She ran as fast as she could but when she looked back they were closer to her than she thought so she ran faster. She looked back down at the crystal and it was lightened. She looked at the hot orange lava. She took a sharp right and jumped.

''Aaaaah'' she screamed as she started falling into the big hole. Everything went in slow motion. She just kept falling and falling until suddenly she felt a hand grab her wrist and felt her body go cold.
