Over the next year they (meaning Luna) concluded that her father might have mistaken the which country it would be in, and therefore they also searched in Denmark, Norway and Iceland. They even searched this snow and ice covered island called Svalbard, who belongs to Norway. They had found other methods of travelling than thestrals, Rolf could, fortunately for Luna apparate. Luna had not had the chance to take the test, because when she was in her sixth year, Professor Snape was headmaster, and the ministry of magic had been infiltrated so that they could not hold apparating classes or tests. They had not stayed long on Svalbard , because it is freezing cold  over there, for not to mention the dangerous polar bears, and the snow. Luna had held out her tongue one time there, while it was snowing heavily. And he had asked her:

"What- are you doing?" He said, with a smile.

"Eating snowflakes, obviously", she had answered.

"What?"

"Snowflakes? Oh, it is what the muggles call the falling snow bits", she had said.

"Is it supposed to taste good?" He asked, with amazement as he stuck his own tongue out.

"No," she had said and bust into an unexpected loud laugh and started to run away from him, and the fluffy snow flew up and made it impossible to see anything.

He had stumbled after her and pushed her into a snow pile. She giggled. Then suddenly he sat on top of her and stroke her frozen hair away from her face. He touched her hands, and and started rubbing his hands together over hers. So that they slowly regained normal temperature.

She noticed his cheeks where bright red, as he leaned down to kiss her. She kissed him back and clutched him harder. Then he leaned back, with now with even more feverishly red cheeks. And helped her up. And he grasped for her hand and entwined it with his own, and they stumbled back to their camp.

It was nearly sun down, and the sky was already a beautiful bright pink coloured. And Luna conjured a bench with her wand a bit closer to the edge so that they could sit and watch the sun set over the ice covered ocean.

"I don't think the Crumple-horned Snorkack lives here," he had said after he scooped  closer to her.

"NNo, I don't tthink sso either," she stammered and laid her shivering head on his shoulder.

Then he took of his fur coat and put it around her, and went to get himself a blanket. He thought the day had been perfect.

"It is beautiful, isn't it? The sun," he said as he sat down again, and she rested her head on his shoulder anew.

"Mmm," was the only replied he got, as he looked down at the sleeping girl.

......................................

Luna woke up the next morning with no clue why she was lying outside alone, but then she lifted her head and saw that her pillow had been Rolf. She smiled to herself as the visions of yesterday slowly came back to her. She didn't know why she had never thought of boys before, as she could remember it almost everyone had a boyfriend by the sixth or seventh year at Hogwarts.

She thought of when Harry had invited her to Slughorns Christmas party, but decided that she had never thought of Harry in that way. She remembered Ginny mocking her for never have kissed a boy. She missed Ginny, they were- or used to be best friends. She thought of writing Ginny a letter. Ginny and Harry were probably married by now, same as Ron and Hermione. She was feeling a bit sad that she had not been there for her friends. They had probably sent her invitations, though.

"Oh are you up already?" He grinned.

"Yes," she said unenthusiastically since she was concentrating on something.
