Ch.12

It wasn’t long before Ministry officials burst into the room, standing there in shock by what they saw taking place in front of them. All the Death Eaters seemed unmarked, while the others were cut up and bloody.

“Time to go,” Sal whispered as all of us disappeared, all heading to my father’s meeting place.

We all landed and I led the way into the meeting room where we sat and waited to hear what happened when my father finally arrived. The others that hadn’t been there were already seated and waiting. About 20 minutes later he arrived and there were no words for how furious he looked. Although he wasn’t completely evil, there was still part of him that wanted to kill Harry and take over the whole world.

“I can’t believe you all failed me! First of all you should have guarded my daughter better; if you had we may have at least been able to rid ourselves from Sirius Black! Instead you didn’t keep Potter away from her and ended up putting her in danger considering she was then having to fight off Black and him.” I noticed at that moment that my arm had a long cut on it. I hadn’t realized that I had been hit by a spell and that worried me because I didn’t know which spell it had been. “Not only that, but you also broke the prophecy. You all are just lucky that I have another plan ready for you all. Luckily I have Severus to carry this all out!

“Draco Malfoy,” my father turned his gaze onto my friend, his eye’s narrowing. “It’s time for you to prove your loyalty.” He gave a cruel smile as he saw the shocked look on Draco’s face and the worried ones on his parents faces. Although they had helped raise me, they received no pity when they were involved in anything Death Eater related.

By the time we were all dismissed I saw everyone was worried about whatever would possibly happen to them next. Draco was going to get the death eater mark at the end of break and I could tell that he was scared to death. I knew he didn’t want to be the person that harmed everyone, but because of his family, he didn’t have a choice. Severus was also worried, mainly because he knew that this plan would be taking place at school and though he didn’t want to admit it, he wanted to keep Harry safe, even if it was because part of him reminded him of Lily.

“Can you get home on your own?” Sal asked as we left the room, noticing the deep gash on my arm as well.

“I’ll be perfectly fine,” I gave him a small smile before seeing Draco with a grimace on his face as he followed his parents and aunt. “I think you should talk to Draco.” Sal glanced over at him and nodded.

“Yeah, he just needs to know that he’ll be okay. Besides, he has us to support him.” he gave me a smile. “Make sure you let George look at that cut by the way.”

“Don’t worry about it.” I glanced around the room once more before disapparating home. George jumped up from the couch when I landed in the living room. His eyes widened when he saw the gash in my arm.

                “What happened?”

“Can I explain that after my cut gets cleaned?” I asked, realizing that I was losing a little too much blood. He rushed off, returning with a large bandage to wrap around the cut. He had his wand out, muttering different spells under his breathe to clean it. Once he had managed to stop the bleeding, he wrapped the bandage around my arm and made sure that it was okay.

“Come on,” he said, leading me over to the bed so that I lay down. I managed to slip the dress and mask off before climbing under the covers, George soon doing the same. He slipped his arm around my waist, pulling me close to him, but making sure that my arm wasn’t hurt. “Now what happened? I heard what happened to the others but they didn’t say much of what happened to you.”
