Ch.13

“Sirius was a little bit in shock after everything, but he’s okay.”  George told me.

                “At least he’s safe.”

“Yeah, now he’s okay with staying in hiding for a little while longer until his name can be cleared.” Fred added.

“Ginny and Ron were scraped off, but both of them are going to be fine. There were only a few bruises left after they were healed. Elena wasn’t harmed at all, mainly because Sal refused to allow her to get in the way of any spells.”

“Which I suspected would happen,” I said “Sal is very protective.”

“Everyone else was left like Ginny and Ron, but Harry was the worst off. He had a few cuts like you and may have sprained something. Luckily Dumbledore got there in time before your father could do anything else to him.”

“Thank goodness, I was hoping he wouldn’t get hurt too bad. He just snapped when he realized Bella was the one who had been trying to Sirius and almost succeeded.”

“I think anyone would be mad if someone was trying to kill the person you cared about.” He told me, picking up all three plates and going to wash them.

“Like if someone tried to kill you, George would snap big time,” said Fred with a smirk.

“I’m guessing you’d act that way if anyone tried to do that to Angelina too,” George countered back with a grin, causing Fred to blush slightly.

“True. Dumbledore has full control over Hogwarts again,” Fred said, trying to change the subject.

“Everyone’s happy about that, Umbridge was just awful. Even some of the Slytherins were tired of her,” Said George.

“Well I’m glad I didn’t have to deal with her this year then.” There was a loud thump from the living room.

“There’s the newspaper,” Fred said, leaving the room and going to pick up the paper.

“You do seem a lot happier this morning,” I stated looking at George as he walked over to me.

“That’s because at least the big plans are over for now until your father can come up with some new scheme.” He told me, pulling me up and pulling me against him.

“And that’s a great thing to be happy about,” I said, pressing my lips against his. I felt him smile, but it was soon cut short when Fred entered the room.

‘You guys might want to see the cover.” He said, “And you possibly might think about stop doing that in front of me every time I enter the room.” George and I pulled away from each other quickly and turned to look at what he was talking about.

Of course there had to be some new big front page news. This time it talked about how my father really had returned and how Harry and Dumbledore had been right. Apparently many people had spotted him and the other Death Eaters last night when we attacked Harry and the others. They also talked about how I was now being given much more authority over the other Death Eaters because of how I’m his daughter. They told everyone about how I was as much of a danger as my dad was to the public and how I was actually walking alongside everyone in the wizard community. The ministry was asking if anyone had seen any suspicious people or actions in the last year or so.
