This actually happened to me and my friends the other day. Different names, same characteristics and conversation.

"Guys! I have bad news." Jake comes running up behind us, crying. Jake never cries. That is when I knew he was about to tell us something we didn't want to hear.

"What is it Jake? Why are you so upset that you are crying?" I ask. He immediately wipes the tears away as if he is embarrassed.

"I am moving. To Arizona."

"What!" The five of us yell in unison.

"Yeah. Now the group is only down to the five of you." Jake cries even more.

"Jake, that's not true and you know it. We are," Tamara makes hand quotation marks in the air to make sure her point gets through to everyone, "hashtag Team Unstoppable!" She yells that last part.

Tamara, the joker in our small group. I am surprised she hasn't made a joke.

"Every friend I make moves away!" Calen says gloomily.

"Thanks for the inspiration, Calen," Hannah says sarcastically.

"Jake, I have a question for you," Tamara says. "Other than sand, heat, and no water, what is in Arizona for you? Well, there are four seasons there. Tolerable, hot, really hot and ARE YOU KIDDING ME! So, you have that at least, " I spoke too soon. People start looking at us like we are crazy.

Jake chuckles lightly. "My dad was offered a giant promotion. But he can only take it if he moves to Arizona."

"So, you can't talk your parents out of moving? Well, let me tell them the seasons and they will stay here!"

"No Tamara. No one can. Only one good thing came out of this though. I can take as much stuff as I want."

"So you can take all of us!"

Jake laughs full heartedly. "I wish. My parents would never allow it if I shoved you all into my suitcase. I am taking all of my stuff though. Even if my parents don't like it."

"Well, maybe we could all save up money to rent an RV. Then we can go down to visit you!" I say.

"Yeah. Well, in the meantime Jake, be a man and think about unicorns and rainbows."

"Okay Tamara," Jake laughs. "So long mis amigos. See you tomorrow at school."

"See you tomorrow Jake," Jules says as we all walk away to get to our next class before we are all counted tardy.
