Lucas' P.O.V
"Luke!"
I groaned for the hundredth time but managed to plaster a fake smile on my face as I turned around to see the annoying bastard.
"Enrique." I nodded at him in acknowledgement.
It is Karen's wedding today, and I'm honoured to manage the arrangements around this pretty place, period. Karen chose everything in pink! The ribbons, the flowers, even the glasses have a shade of pink! I may as well think she would have made Andrew wear a pink suit.
But everytime I complain about that, I'm scolded off saying that it's not hot pink but tea pink.
Tea is served hot; my retort if you are wondering.
"Why aren't you with your sister right now?" the Spanish flagpole had a nerve to ask again.
"Why aren't you in London right now?" I rolled my eyes and walked away. But the idiot couldn't take a sign and started following me.
"The people are coming."
"Really? I wonder why." I really had an urge to kick him off me, but he wouldn't get a clue. These arrangements were nothing related to my work but Karen made me do them using the aid of her sisterly torture, leaving me bedazzled. I had to greet guests, make them sit, give them company for a while and then move to others.
Her words, not mine.
"You know honey, you should see your sister now, I'm sure Enrique can handle this for a little while." Aunt Fernanda aka the idiot's mother told me. The dumb bobblehead nodded.
"Actually, I've seen her. And I believe Nathan can handle her better than me. She's panicking and nervous."
"Oh, why don't you go calm her poor nerves?" She asked in her concerned voice.
"I told her that she could call off the wedding if she's scared. She... slapped me." I muttered the last part under my breath. Aunt Fernanda gave me a pointed look and shook her head, making her way to the bride's room. As she entered, Nathan made his way out.
"Yep, she's nervous." He said, shaking his head as he pursed his lips into a straight line.
"Thanks for the information, Captain Obvious. Now, you two handle these humans and let me take a break." I said patting his back, slowly walking away. I breathed a sigh of relief as I walked out of the church, leaning against the wall near the staircase.
I really needed a break.
Guests from both the families were coming, and the place had slowly been crowded.
"Hey..." Andrew tapped my shoulder to get my attention. After looking at his face, I couldn't help but let out an amused chuckle. The guy looked seriously constipated.
"Well if it isn't the poor little bridegroom with wobbly legs..." I snorted at him, making him roll his eyes.
"You're an ass." He said as he tried to make small talk, sipping water from his bottle after every few seconds.
He was talking about absolutely nothing. But I let him rant. He needed to let it all out.
I zoned out of Andrew's nervous babbling, as I saw Enrique greeting the Lockwoods.
"Now I know where Candy gets all her beauty from." The Spanish bastard with a British accent said to Ms. Lockwood, while winking at her daughter. Mason Lockwood snorted, gaining a glare from both the Lockwood ladies. I chuckled under my breath as I understood Mason's two way mocking. His wit was something I found amusing out of all other boring adults.
