Waking up to the sound of people talking loudly in your house is anything but pleasant. Groaning, I threw off the duvet and brushed the free falling strands of my brown hair away from my face. Not caring about my appearance, I rushed down the stairs in my superman pajamas.

"What the hell peeps? What's the fuss all about?" I shouted, my vision still blurry. I rubbed my eyes and they slowly widened at the sight in front of me.

"Aunt Petunia?"

C'mon, everyone has one of those. But my one apparently is different.

"Way to make an appearance, partner." She greeted me as she raised her left eyebrow and put her hands on her hips. I shrugged and ran to her with my arms wide open. I hugged her tightly, as she said, "A kid on a Christmas morning."

"Whatever you say, Aunt Petunia." I said as I leaned back, smiling widely at her. She's the only woman I like; the one with great imagination and an annoying banter to deal everyone with. She's almost 25 now but lives young. Our pranks are just awesome. There was a time when we dressed as Batman and Robin on a Halloween party.

Don't even ask.

"It's Jenna, Candy. Not Petunia." My father glared at me.

"And she doesn't only make cookies, cakes and pies." I snorted.

"Now, Jenna you know where your room is. I'll prepare brunch with Betty while you freshen up. And Candy," My mother said as she glared at me, "Get yourself... presentable." I nodded and headed upstairs after earning a pat from my aunt.

"Oh he's the Ryan Gosling, Johnny Depp and Robert Downey of this generation! Candy's an ass to reject him." My mother said, and then after realizing her choice of words she added quickly, "Sometimes swearing adds to the effect hon."

Yes, if you haven't realized yet, my life revolves around Lucas Xavier Banks, or his discussions thanks to my mother.

"I don't think he's that hot Mom," I said earning a snort from my father, then continued, "Okay he may be, but he's an asshole." I said earning a smack from my mother. I grinned and added, "Sometimes swearing adds to the effect, hon." My father acted proud and wiped a fake tear from his eye, smirking at my mother who just rolled her eyes. My aunt, who was just smiling amused at our discussion piped in, "I really want to look forward to seeing your boyfriend, Can."

I groaned as I added, "Any non-lucas topic to talk on please?"

"Sure Candy. What have you thought about your career? When are you taking over the Lockwood Enterprises?" He said, raising an eyebrow.

I thought for a moment to say something sarcastic but refused and replied, "If I want to take over now, Can I leave working at the Banks?" I stared at my father as he brushed the invisible beard on his chin.

"No. You're still a kid." I raised my eyebrows at him as he smiled sheepishly.

"When do you want me to take over?"

"When you're 21 at least."

"Can't I just work there until then?" I asked, almost begging. I completely ignored my conscience screaming at me that I don't want to leave this Banks' building.

"Jeez. You really do hate him, But there's progress." He muttered then told me seriously, "You can join whenever you want, but I'd recommend you to work there as much as you can." I nodded at him understandingly.

"So, how tall is he again?" My mother asked, with a serious face.

"Who?"

"Lucas, duh!"

"I'm going to- uh, get the groceries." I said, trying to get away from the "Love Life and Lucas" environment at my home.

"Betty got them"

"Bye. Aunt Petunia you coming?"

"Hell yeah."

"I'm at the restroom, okay? Be back in a few." I nodded to Jenna as I pushed the cart around the snacks section. I filled the cart with different types of unhealthy foods and placed a huge bottle of nutella in the cart. I turned around to see a familiar face stuffing his cart. To be honest, it's really weird seeing someone not in their usual attire or uniform. He was wearing a gray T-shirt with khakis.

"Hello there, Nathan." I smiled at him, thanking god that it was not Lucas. He turned his head to look at me, surprised.

"Oh Hey Candy! Didn't expect to see you here," He said with a raised eyebrow then giving a glance to the items in my cart, he chuckled, "Okay now I do."

"I can say the same." I nodded, smirking at the almost same items in his cart.

"It's all for Karen. She gets too hungry when excited. I really don't understand women." He said in a low voice.
I laughed as I noticed someone's presence behind me. I turned around to see Jenna with her mouth open wide.
And then she squealed.
Actually squealed.

"Can, is he the Lucas Banks? Like- oh my god yes he is he's such a cutie! I really ship you both!" She tried to whisper but after looking at Nathan's amused expression, I'm sure she wasn't.

"Like damn girl! Damn damn damn. What is keeping you to wait so long? Man if I was his age I would've-" She continued on but I cut her off.

"Jenna meet Nathan Banks aka the good brother. And Nathan, well she's my aunt. Period."

Nathan leaned in just to whisper, "You might want to look at your left."
I looked at my left to see Lucas with his right hand clutching his chest as a boyish grin plastered his face.
Why is he here?
Why is he everywhere I go?
Why does my life revolve around him?

Did he just hear Jenna?

He walked towards my aunt and kissed his hand while saying, "Lucas, the infamous Banks. And your name is?" I looked at my aunt who was practically gawking at him. She quickly recovered and replied, "Junna. No, uh- Jenna."

Lucas smiled at her as they exchanged introductions, stealing glances at me.

"Why don't you both come over tomorrow? Like a little gathering or something?" Nathan said, earning an evil smirk from the bad brother, who then added, "You can meet Karen too, Sweetheart."

He did not just say that in front of my aunt. Apparently, my aunt is the 'Too cool' type but when it comes to boys my age, she's does the role of a typical aunt.
She's 'Team Candy get a date' like my mother.

"Sweetheart." Jenna dragged the word while winking at me, making me roll my eyes.

Before I could refuse the offer, Jenna beat me to it, "Sure."

To remind everyone that I'm still here, I said, "Only for Karen." While glaring at the bad brother.
We exchanged our goodbyes as I heard Lucas saying under his breath, "I think we're going to have a lot of fun tomorrow."
As soon as we were out of the two brothers' sight, I pulled Jenna and whisper shouted, "What the hell? Was it necessary to act like a fan-girl and accept that ridiculous offer?"

"Denial is the lamest phase, Can. But I'm sure you'll thank me later." She said, acting like something she knew which I didn't."

"I don't have anything to deny."

"Sure you don't, drooler."
