Dean led me back to the dining room. There was a flatscreen TV, and two big couches. He went over to a big cabinet, and inside were thousands upon thousands of movies.
"We shouldn't watch a scary one, I want you to get used to this place first. Maybe something nerdy," he was saying, half to himself half to me.
He pulled out three movies.
"We're not doing anything today. So I suggest we watch all of the Lord of the Rings," he said smiling.
I nodded, not knowing what else to say. I didn't know what a Lord of the Rings was. He put in the first movie, and we both sat on a couch.
"Dean, can I use a blanket please?"
"Yeah sure Cas, there's one on the other couch there," he said pointing.I walked over to the couch with the blanket. I grabbed the fluffy white blanket, and wrapped it around myself. My wings also wrapping around myself.
"Are you cold Dean?"
"No, but I might be later. How's your hand doing?" He asked. It wasn't healing as fast as it should have. Our old 'Leaders' took out whatever grace they could. They put it in this big glass bottle like structure. I had a little bit of grace left, but nothing to heal a little wound.
"It's fine Dean. Thank you for helping me," I said smiling.
"No problem Cas. Anytime."
We both then sat there, watching the movie. I actually thought it was good. They were very long movies. By the time the first one was done, Dean was making popcorn. He plopped it between us and started eating. He then looked at me and motioned for me to eat some too. I did and it was so good, the butter and popcorn went so well together.
We eventually finished it when the first movie was over. Dean went to make some more, but before he did that he showed me how to work the controller. He also showed me how to put a CD in the DVD player.
I put in the second movie, just in time for Dean to finish making the popcorn. We started watching the second one, but I was getting slightly tired. I yawned and snuggled myself more into the blanket. I looked over and saw Dean staring at me. I didn't know what to say so I just stared back.
"Are you tired?" He asked.
"I think I'll live until the third movie," I said tiredly. He chuckled and slowly wrapped an arm around my shoulder. He pushed me slowly towards him, so that my head was resting on his shoulder.
"You can go to sleep if you'd like Cas," he said softly.
I nodded and closed my eyes. I felt... safe, for the first time in years I actually felt safe. I woke up when I felt no body warmth next to me. I was laying in my bed, Dean must've carried me over to it. I looked over to his bed, and he was laying there sleeping. I couldn't believe I was saying this, but he looked cute while sleeping.
I felt cold though, so I wrapped the quilt around me. It still wasn't enough. I got up slowly and walked over to Dean's bed. I lied down next to him, and wrapped my arms around his waist. I pressed my wings against my back as well. He must've felt the heat and moved closer to me. I snuggled my head against his back, and went back to sleep.
