Dean's POV

I felt awful.

Ever since Castiel got out of the hospital I never left his side. His wing is healing slowly but I touched it the one day, and he almost screamed.

It's been a month.

I never left his side, and I ate with him in my room, along with some other angels.

Gabriel tried to make him happy, but since Castiel couldn't laugh as much, he just did breathy laughs, or nose exhales.

Castiel's also been having terrible nightmares.

He's kicked and punched me plenty of times in his sleep, they've been getting better though. He would wake up after and see trying to calm him with new bruises, and he would start crying.

"I-I-I'm... so... sorry Dean," Castiel would say in between breaths and crying.

"It's okay Cas, it's okay, it's not your fault, I love you," I would say softly and kissed his forehead.

I could kiss Castiel, but I was afraid that I would move the things in his nose. I'd hate to see him not breath because of me.

He's getting better though, one step at a time.

We're in the living room, him curled up to me with his oxygen tank, and I have an arm wrapped around him.

His healed wing is over his healing one, gently.

"What would you like to do my love?" I asked him softly, brushing some hair out of his face.

"I want to be better."

I sighed and nodded.

"I know baby, but it's gonna take some time okay?" I said softly.

Then an idea hit me.

I've always wanted to do it, and I need too, that's why I've been saving so many angels, and trying to get on the higher power people's side.

"Castiel?" I asked him softly.

He looked up at me with curious eyes.

"Yes... Dean?" He asked quietly.

"I'm going to get you and everyone's else's grace back."
